Mass Sack In Alpha Beta Consulting Limited Allegedly Owned By Tinubu by Nobody: 10:00am On Jun 24, 2015

The Association of Senior Staff of Bank and Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI) is picketing the Alpha-Beta Consulting Limited, believed to be owned by the leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the sack of 300 workers in its employ.

The company total staff strength is said to be about 375. Our correspondent gathered that the staff were sacked because they signified their intent to be unionized in order to improve their working conditions.

ASSBIFI's officials, who besieged the premises company as early as 7am on Tuesday displayed various placards and criticized the action of the company’s management. Some of the inscriptions on the placards, read: 'Alpha Beta is a lawless organization,’ ‘Injustice to humanity must stop,'

Also, the Lagos Water Corporation has been sealed by the union and its workers are outside the premises of the company.

In my opinion, this probably means some states are renegotiating their terms with Alpha beta or canceling their contracts. For instance, getting 10% of Lagos tax revenue is simply too much for one consultancy firm and I would imagine similar terms applies to other states.
The union narratives seems far fetched to me. Red herring?

Tinubu is only trying to cover his traces,I won't be surprised if he close down some of his companies in order to cover up all the money laundry that has been associated with them .

If I was the chairman, I will sack them as well. For crying out loud this is a private organzation, I cnt have some union holding my compnay to randsome later on in the future when things dnt go their way. Abeg sack of them, let the unions go and provide jobs for them.
