Why not, he created us therefore he can decide to do and undo. Well, some parents do worse to their own kids. Besides God is not your parent, he is God, your creator! He is unaccountable to no one, not even you! He shouldn't even be subjected to your own mortal interpretation!

I am also guilty of interpreting God to suit myself however I wouldn't try to use that justification if I were explaining him in a wider context.

The truth remains that homosexuality is not congenital. It is an acquired lifestyle. Like someone would say: "it is not a sexual orientation but a sad disorientation."

Soon artificial insemination would be the popular way to procreate then we'd probably lose interest in it altogether and go extinct. I know that's a long shot but the point is: we are not acting in the best interests of our race if we accept homosexuality as a norm. There has to be a limit for the sake of sanity.

Soon humans will look for the next thing to legalize. Maybe they'd ask for the right to marry their pets.

God is all forgiven if you are humble enough to realize that you have sinned! And ask him for his forgiveness. You keep forgetting that you in no position to interpret God or his actions. You are a mere mortal, a mere creation. He on the other hand is the supreme, he sees what you do but see, his approach is of no concern of yours and therefore not subjected to your scrutiny. He is not you and you are not him. If you keep trying to analyse him with your mortal eyes and limited knowledge, you either stopped believing in him or you continue to make grace mistakes in your worship.

What you call infinite is nothing to God but it is a lot to you for you are just a mortal. If you are indeed a knowledgeable mortal you would realise that what God requested is nothing on the long run. He merely request our obedience and nothing more. However, in our own delusion to justify our disobedience we make excuses- mortal excuses. Whether hell exists or not is not an issue for a believer- you can call it blind faith because of your ability to reason. If that is what it is to you, so be it. It is either all or nothing.

Yes, Hell does not physically exist just yet. However when people are defining hell , they should only describe the feeling of being chained or confined to a place of darkness. It is a name that describe the act of confinement and solidarity.

Religious fanatics culled the fire and brimstone (book of revelation) to give it whistes and theatrics. A thousand years, Satan will be confined in the placr of absolute darkness but not in the "popular" hellfire/hell (book of revelation debunked that assertion)

After the judgement period, the world will be consumed by fire but not sent to "hell".

Good you didn't present any evidence hell exist other than the usual religious ramblings. Now from what I can deduce from what you said with emphasis at the emboldened is that humans who ends up in hell chooses it themselves. Right?. Why should I be subjected to an everlasting torture because I disobeyed the all-loving and ever merciful God?. That I made mistake and wrong choices and was adamant to plead for forgiveness doesn't alter the fact that God has chosen to punish me for it by compelling me to eternal physical torture. When he's "all-loving". Keyword - all loving. Anyone who chooses to punish me horribly throughout eternity for doing nothing more egregious than the mind he gave me doesn't love me. Under no definition of the word 'love' would doing anything so unconscionable qualify as love.

You don't choose an eternity of torture for someone you love. If God decide to punish his offspring for their wrongdoings eternally something is not right. That's injustice not love. And that I don't have the right to question God and his teachings doesn't also mean I should follow everything about religion hook, line and sinker when I have the cognitive abilities to make rational and practical judgments.

Interesting and resourcefully thought out. When religious fanatics tend to portray hell in the light and manner they do, it sketches hell in bad light and doesn't give a good impression of God. How can someone tell me that hell is a place where God sends his own offspring whom he loves whole-heartedly for eternal torture just for disobedience?. If that is an attempt to cajoling people tend to his faith and worship him then it won't fly. The act of worshiping should be by choice and not through blackmail and threats.

You keep missing the point. God is all loving to those who believe and he can be vengeful to those who disbelieve. That was the mood reason I use the phrase ‘do and undo'. Whether or not ‘God's" vengeance is a good or a bad thing, is of no concern of yours and like I wrote earlier you have no standing as a mere mortal to classify it. You are not dealing with your fellow man here, you are feeling with God! Yes, he is everything you consider good but also he is everything you consider evil. He loves those who have chosen to obey him and he hates those who have charm disobedience out of pride and ‘I can think rational'.

You have a choice. You either believe or you don't. But don't try to rationalise your disobedience and ignorance because of what you think God ought to be when he has clearly told you who he is and what he can do.

Whenever we run into a simple logic inconsistency that cuts into the viability of our belief system, we resort to the only argument. Which is that we're inferior sinners, mere mortals, that we think it's good idea to use our rational minds that doesn't seem to make sense neither are they practicable. That we can't dare to fathom God's mysterious ways. At the slightest challenge we abandon logic and tend to mysticism. Very typical.

It's irrational and an assault to logic that an ever merciful God would subject his children to eternal torture for disobedience and would only pardon them if they plead for forgiveness. That's dictatorial not democratical. Do as I say or perish?. Oh he's all loving.
