If you dont believe bible's position on the origin of man, then you cant believe anything. Bible's position is in similitude to the holy koran's position. What paleontologists posited to be the origin of life could have been also true because the bible also mention some men who are giant, some are also the sons of men different from the offspring of Adam. The bible is the sole arbiter of the origin of life.

The Big question is " How did Man come into existence"?. The many religions we have today and those of the old gods possesses different beliefs on how Man came into being.

As a Christian, i learnt through the bible how Man came into life and I don't have to share it because I believe everyone knows that including non Christians because am not here to quote the Bible as am not that religious.

You should not say man originated from apes. If it is so, evolution should have taken another pace by now. The Bible is clear and straightforward enough for you to understand, it contains all rules for man to live and even be successful with clear examples from the past. Man (Adam) was created in the image of God and therefore should not be likened unto apes (Gen 1:27). We should know that there are things that goes beyond mere scientific theories made by men like you and I . Do not doubt the fact that Adam is the first man because you are doubting God's word.

The theory of Evolution is based on the idea of natural selection where organisms acquire or develop traits that makes them more suitable for their environments thus evolving into better or even newer species.

Yes the bible might contain bullshit stories but I believe them. Science cannot give accurate account of how humans begin existing in the world. But the bibilical truth is very simple and precise, no assumptions, no change, no natural selection or evolution in the creation of man by God. One thing you bible believers don't know is that human or homo sapiens are not the only human species that ever lived.

Humans have up to 4 different species!
Homo sapiens sapiens are the only surviving species left.

One of the most popular human species that died off was Neanderthals that dominated Europe while the current Homo sapiens sapiens dominated Africa.

My dear, I do not know what to say to you. There were secretaries in the time of old that recorded these scriptures you read in the bible. The Holy Spirit helped the early scholars to compile all these scriptures into one book called 'the bible'. If the Holy Spirit does not help any christian, he cannot understand ANY part of the scriptures. Rather, they will seem foolish to him b/c they are only SPIRITUALLY discerned. If God does not help a man to understand the bible, it will surely look foolish to such a person. God made it to be so in that no one will follow God through human wisdom, theories or science.
Christians walk by FAITH with God and not by SIGHT (science or theories).
