but Buhari needs their wealth and economic contributions for his success! What if he wouldn't tap their resources? What if it is their resources what make Nigeria exist as country? It is like you want Buhari to disregard the zone, its people and resources. Only if he can do that then he would be the strongest president in Nigeria.

Inasmuch I would have preferred the candidacy of Lawan/Gbajamiala over Saraki/Dogara, it is unfortunate that Saraki/Dogara won and contrary to most APC loyalists opinion- Saraki did not betray his party rather his party betrayed him. It is being said that Lawan/Gbajamiala candidacies are the party's choice however must people have failed to ask a pertinent question of 'Who is exactly is the party'. Although it is an unwritten rule in for political parties in most countries including the developed, to choose who is to represent the party if they won the majority seats however the situation APC found itself was complex and therefore it should have been tackled rationally. The complexity of APC's situation was borne out of the fact that Saraki has a considerable amount of political influence and support and also to some, he is a big player in the North central- his position therefore should have informed APC on the proper course of action to take. The party could have reached a compromise with Saraki. It had no right to impose a candidate on its members especially if it was done without following due process. Even though what Saraki has done appear to be treacherous the man has committed no legal or moral wrong. He was merely a citizen of Nigeria expressing his democratic right.
