it is quite obvious that he hasn't recovered from the severe injuries I plagued him with

you know it can be very psychologically depressing when he used 10 market days to script a verse & the judges thought the only criterion he clinched was ~~personals~~ attendance …
my 1:30 mins freestyled joint sent he & his ilks to the pits of Hades & instead of him to improve on his Salawa Abeni Pen game, he's busy running helter Skelter like a beheaded chicken..

you are only cheapening yourself by battling him. he has to work his way to the top & unfortunately he is still in the level of - sosiq, warribloood & co. ✘

The closer too wasn't so good....if anything it should have been done like he would do a battle. A strong closer remains in the minds of the voters

Though you spotted some faults in my interview, but you never gave up on me. You showed me Love even when I was having some short-comings.
You squashed the beef, kept it aside showed me support.

You stopped work for some minutes and logged on Nairaland just to vote and campaign for me.
You posted in the Romance section for the first time after a long time!

To the issue at hand....I raised this concern on time...even before the quarter final. I think i even raised it before my first round brawl with obainojazz. Five semi-finalists slugging it out for the four positions. Teddy suggested a cypher and many agreed back then. Most of us were sold on the idea that we would have to do a verse and diss others and the weakest would drop out.
Saying now that the two cats with the weakest verses would battle for a right to be in the semi has a touch of injustice on it. If it was communicated before the quarters..then it would have been a lovely and welcome idea. At this stage, i would even accept darkrebel666's suggestion that it be a topical verse than this last minute shocker.

That being said, i'm not a judge so whatever you guys agree on...i will go along with it but i felt i had to speak my mind on the issue.
