I just can't imagine ppl quoting Bob Marley on issues like this. He popularized weed smoking and he shouldn't be quoted like he made a sense at all. He has ruined many souls with his lifestyle. So many Rastafarians wonder about the streets with mental syndromes in Jamaica, Holland, Nigeria n the Caribbean cos of listening to reggae. They confuse ppl that weed gives inspiration. Today almost all artists smoke to get "inspiration". Majek, u chose a way for yourself and I don't feel any pity for you. You've had the best of life and weed. I'd rather sponsor a child to school than donate to him.

At his peak, Majek was the 3rd most rated reggae musician in the world. Just find a way and listen to his tracks "spirit of love" and "Hotel California", you'll cry for the man.

u need a toothbrush. What sort of help are u referring? Do u know what being under the influence of drug is? Drug has no family. The best thing for him could have been a rehab, but his case is bigger than chain and shackles. I don't believe any spiritual power is operating him. Drug has eaten too deep into him. Is hard to help such a person now even if he were your father.

Oyoyo.that is why kids when their mum returns they say mummy o yo yo daddy o yo yo.Now destroyed by drug a shadow of his former self,he was in the same league as lucky dube of south africa,Lagbaja.I have all his album on my lap top.What a pity.Farewell my former hero.

Millions of Nigerians suffers spiritual attacks daily even, Mr President Buhari is no exception of such attacks which God already grant us victory. Majek made mess of his God-given talent by choosing to engage in hard drugs(narcotics), mainly, heroine(gbana) and cocaine.
He now smokes marijuana(Igbo) because, he's so broke and virtually begs for everything to be breathing. Whatever potential we possesses, it becomes useless and meaningless when we fail to acknowledge the source/giver and purpose. The ill-wind of fate and destiny!
