I just can't imagine ppl quoting Bob Marley on issues like this. He popularized weed smoking and he shouldn't be quoted like he made a sense at all. He has ruined many souls with his lifestyle. So many Rastafarians wonder about the streets with mental syndromes in Jamaica, Holland, Nigeria n the Caribbean cos of listening to reggae. They confuse ppl that weed gives inspiration. Today almost all artists smoke to get "inspiration". Majek, u chose a way for yourself and I don't feel any pity for you. You've had the best of life and weed. I'd rather sponsor a child to school than donate to him.

It wasn't just weed and alcohol.He used 2 do Coccain when he was in his prime.That's what ruined him.Especially when he was in US.Sold his property little by little till he had none,jst 2 take dat stuff.He used 2 stay in my hood in Airforce base,Ikeja as at 2012-2013.It was hard seing him erday,especially in joints drinking and smoking,looking like a bum.He was eventually sent out from dat area by authorities.Pray he gets da necessary help 2 save him.Cos truly he's in da class of greats lyk Bob Marley.

Hello friend I was born in the early 80s, part of the song's lyrics was mama te te oyo yo.beside it was a term common only to kids that grew up in the urban part of lagos,before it was spread to other parts of Nigeria.If awo was the author my uncle of 40 year would relate with the term,am above 3 decades
