This fruit is used in preparing local soup in some part of the Yoruba tribe. I know the fruit very well, in fact I have eaten the soup before, just that I can't remember the name right now. People from remote parts of Akure, Akoko,.....etc use it very well. |

IAmTobore:LMAO. Who's the mumu here? The m0r0n who thinks that all fruits are edible I would think. Let's assume you are the problem here since you went to a good school; but apparently you are too block headed for anything to enter. |

logica:No one is perfect, english is a borrowed language. Because I used it wrongly doesn't pave way for you to attack me in the first place. Your sick brain was suppose to let you know that I was trying to inform the OP that the fruit isn't edible. You would've earned respect by correcting me, but your immaturity over-shadowed your IQ. Next time learn to correct others. |

| Re: What Fruit Could This Be? by sartee(m): 7:56am On Jul 01, 2015 |
tpiander:Lol ... the thing is I believe we are all here to learn. I haven't seen a fruit or a tree that bears such fruits before. I might be tempted to taste it and God help me if it's not poisonous. Information is power ... |
| Re: What Fruit Could This Be? by logica(m): 8:40am On Jul 01, 2015 |
IAmTobore:Go sideways you dolt. I asked a direct rhetoric question to make you realize you had goofed and and then your response was a sarcastic "go and eat it then" or some ret@rded response to that effect. After you had been cut to size, you are now moping. Who has the time to attack you? You are too small for an attack in the scheme of things. By the way, you can keep your respect in your pocket. |

thecommunist:Guy, the bold part of your statement is not accurate. Any brief search on pomegranate will show that it also grow in the tropics. It is well grown in India which has some tropical climate. It is also grown in Kenya which is even closer to the equator that Nigeria. Haven said that, the fruit is certainly not pomegranate!! @OP, I know you wish it is pomegranate, no it is not |
