They didn't do well at all. That is what desperation can cause.

However I have witnessed something similar but in this case the younger brother of the guy involved stepped in and appeared for him thru out the wedding. With their close resemblance it was easy to pull it off and the wedding pictures looked great. But getting married to a picture frame is not it at all.
