Thank you Op for the post, but please where in Azikwe street in Port-Harcourt, I live in PHC (at the moment) too, kindly educate me
Azikiwe Street (not Azikiwe Road) is around Ikoku Junction and extends to the second gate of RUST. If you're viewing it from Ikoku, Adelabu Street and School Road are beside it.

Am I blind or am I the only one seeing this

HOW CAN LAYING ASPHALT ON A ROAD WITHOUT APPROPRIATE DRAINAGE(S) BE A GOOD JOB

Why rush to do a poor job that will not last? It is a pity that some blind Nigerians don't know what proper road construction entails.

Just doing a street and it is in the news.. .. .. . I live few Street from there and I can tell u dat in diobu alone ameachi did more than 20 Streets

It is impossible to break Amaechi's record in Road construction and urban renewal in this era as there is no money for that. Sometimes when I drive bye Stadium Road, Ada George, Mile1 to 3 Ikwerre Road and Elekahia I wonder at how it was possible to achieve.

it was possible to achieve because there was plenty money and he was serious in his first term. I only wish he started the elelenwo - mothercat - garrison project in his first term.
2nd term, he got possessed by a demon.

Abeg stop right there!! Tell that crap to those who don't live in Rivers state. Are you referring to the SAME Trans Amadi road that Amaechi ABANDONED for YEARS after totally wrecking it? Same road towards slaughter that damaged the base of my car? Same road that is being fixed now by Wike?

And how about the Golf Estate? Sure it's a great idea and the buildings are beautiful....but isn't it the same Golf Estate long abandoned during Amaechi's 2nd term?

you are not current, be honest with yourself, the road was a superb one, thou work is slow but we all know GEJ held half of Rivers state allocation because am fully aware that GEJ did what OBJ did to Lagos State then to Rivers State now,

beside, are you telling me that you have not be seeing RCC trucks and machines working day and night on that particular road? before wike came in? despite that the work was slow due to the quality job going , Amechi is still funding the project and its was going on

the road was blocked around post office by the RCC white men to avoid been kidnapped which cause the go-slow
beside, what happen to danjuma road? cant you be using that? i have been using that

and as for the Golf Estate project! stop saying what you dont know!! its 85% completed

Ahmed Chi was there for 8 years and 8tred does not allow you to think clearly not to compare 8 years of Ahmedchi with a month of Wise K's government?

Bigot talking about hatred.. Wonders shall never end.

1. Amaechi built hundreds of news schools in 8 years while the rest of the governors in that entire region including Akpabio did not build 1 single school.

2. Amaechi built over 140 health centers and many hospitals in 8 years while the rest of the governors in that region did not build any, Akpabio struggled to build and complete 1 in 8 years.

3. Amaechi build more bridges and flyovers in that entire region than any governor since independence back in 1960.

4. Amaechi built the only Olympic rated sports complex with 40,000 capacity stadium, volleyball, basket ball, Olympic size swimming pool, tennis court and so on while Akpabio managed to build 1 football field.

5. Amaechi revitalize the state's rubber and palm oil fields and production.

6. Amaechi built and completed the Buguma Fish Farm

7. Amaechi cultivated 5,000 hectares cocoa plantation and Rivers is set to become a major cocoa state.

Ameachi was the best and most productive governor in that region combined..

What's wike built, commissioned or even set on the table as vision for the state apart from his daily silly drama?

He was possessed by no demon. The then President fought him dirty using every possible means to undermine Amaechi's good will. If Buhari played that policy of tyrancy Wike will not be able to appoint State attorney general or even be obeyed by police commissioners and security agents. We need to be truthful all the time.

That not withstanding Ada George, Okporo road and Woji-Elelenwo were done in 2nd term under Jonathan's tyrancy. Streets like this were equaly done in Diobu, town, Eligbam/Oroazi and D-line but of higher quality with underground drainage and walkways.

Wike is a scam!
He told us Julius Berger.
What am seeing is different.

Resurfacing road with asphalt no drainage.

Well, to an extent, he shld try his best but I doubt if he can equate Amaechi.
Am not to compare him with Amaechi

Bros, abeg abeg just stop! Which work?! I'm not just current, I LIVE IN PHC and ply that Trans Amadi road. The contractor returned to site AFTER Wike resumed as Governor. Prior to that, that same road was ABANDONED after Amaechi scrapped off the asphalt and dug trenches for drainage. THATS IT. Do you know the amount of curses rained on Amaechi by angry motorists cos of that road?

Frankly I don't think you live in PHC. Either that or you're lying. Or probably live in a parallel universe.
