Was it a 2 or 3years prog
Let us be positive too then..

But to save the heartache...Make person just choose PGD...
Both were two years, but one was three years with co-op

Omo..
I no Sabi how the VO guages it o..
That's the mystery...

Mr. how do you measure a genuine student? So all those who had purpose of visit as one reason for their delay are not genuine students and all those who got trv are genuine students right?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 9:03pm On Jul 11, 2015
Cool
As I said...let's be positive..

Go and read your initial posts. Someone warned you but your attitude that time did not encourage the person to give full details.
Those days were not encouraging at all. Justwise noted it. Until red card was issued by justwise it was insult galore from newcomers. I had composed a warning for you then but reading a reply from you that you know what you are doing make me delete it. You react too quickly on this thread preventing contributions that normally should have matured your perspectives. You seams to think that you can become a distinguished professional only by attending a particular school. On the job experience can be much more valuable many times.
In spite of all, be positive. Our analysis here are major trend observations that are always overruled by HIS favour and Grace. May the LORD perfect your APP. in the eye of the V.O. (AMEN)
hayqinsbFX:
Bro thanks for your analysis.
I went for the second one in my first application and I had no one to tell me not to even after asking specifically that my prog was for 3years....

I got a fasttrack option which would be 2years for my second application....

Buh The thing is fasttrack or no fasttrack....an engineering graduate is deem superior to a technologist...thats why re transferred into the 3rd year. to earn a degree after completing the adv diploma.

I saww the caips note of an Indian foing for fasttrack after bsc and the VO wrote that program of study is not a logical progression of previous studies..

I still have a chance as every case is handled differently...but I would have avoided a lot of heart ache by just going for a PGD..

If you have another option, some might advise that you do not use this account cos of money lodgement but if there's no other choice, by all means go ahead. You can add a co-sponsor just in case. My sponsor added a larger sum to his account just a week before he printed the SOA and there were no receipts to verify the transaction. There's a lot of God factor in this. Pray hard all day everyday.

Booking a ticket even 24hrs before your intended departure date shouldn't be an issue. The cost is the issue. You may have to pay more money for it than someone who booked it long before departure. Prices vary based on the dates.
Also, the average processing time right now is about 8 weeks unless you can tap into Team12's kind of favour.
Regardless, you can still resume a week or 2 after the resumption date, you should be able to register your courses online once you're sure of your TRV

I stand to be corrected
gedtalks:
Please someone advise me: I secured admission for a school in Calgary (Fall start 2015). I applied for visa but was denied because my documents were incomplete. Right now I am trying to apply again by 17th of this month. Knowing that it takes 6 weeks to process study permit; I will be expecting my application to be fully processed by 28 August (just 10 days from the program start date).

If I do upfront medical and I am successful, will they issue me study permit that very day (August 28th) ? or is there another stage before issuance.

If I am issued a study permit by 28, what are my chances of booking a flight ticket within 9 days?

Please don't let anybody discourage you. As you may already know, all applications are unique. It's very possible if you write a very convincing SOP. Go ahead, you never can tell which VO that God will direct your application to. Just do your own part, submit all that they require and let God do the rest.
wayaa007:

The confidence i have is, I have three colleagues who all applied as b.Sc holders and got a visa to pursue advanced diploma(co-op). That's the only encouragement I have, I will go ahead, if it bounces back, I apply for a pgd...

I paid on Friday too and I didn't encounter this issue. It was just a normal transaction and I paid 28k. I'm not sure what's happening
CoCoLav:

Okay, thanks guys.
Tnuola I'm loving the way my name is first on that list cheesy

@Team12, I went to the bank to pay for IOM medicals on Friday and it was a battle. Filled a normal teller and was told by the cashier that there's a customized teller for IOM. Turned out the account number on the customized teller was different from the one IOM sent me. I insisted on using an ordinary teller and filling the details on their website. They even said the money was #26,250 and the cashier refused to collect anything in excess of that. She showed me a circular sent by IOM to the bank issuing the directive. Had to go to their head office.

Did you guys encounter such?

can someone please tell exactly how trv is edited. does it have an expiry date if you don't travel within a specified deadline
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 2:36am On Jul 12, 2015
As much I like and agree with your comments,
I would disagree that someone warned me thoug as I can't remember that...
I can remember that siga and fhemmy were among notable persons that gave me a strong go ahead...
I was made to believe that these people are DONS here and couldn't have being wrong...

P.S I'm not blaming anyone ooo

About you wanting to type me a message then is pretty harsh though...U cudda still typed it...
I won't blame you....the witches of my villages just used u to carry out their plans...

About my attitude....ill acceept that maybe I went extreme attimes, but the truth is not until recently there was never equality on the thread.....a differentiation betwn guys with TRV and without (thats by the way sha)

It's not about discouraging anyone here...I don't want to be in the position to say "and I wanted to tell you o"
Every decision is still in his hands, just letting hm know about his chances isn't bad.
But there's still the God factor in the end..

And for those He gave more time to plan for their journey in form of Delay and Re-applying ... @berexio1, @hayqinsbFX and others

Nah, there's nothing like that. Once you have your TRV, you can leave when you want to. Just put all school deadlines into consideration.

But you reapplied because you thought it was worth the try. He's applying for the first time so why discourage him?
I understand where you're coming from but as we all know, there are people in his and your situation in terms of course who have gotten TRV. Would you be able to live with yourself you end up getting the TRV for your advanced diploma knowing you advised someone to defer his admission because he's not going for PGD?

I reapplied becos I was already in it o....i cudnt just change abruptly...(Now I feel I sud have just changed anyways)

All we do here is better our chances....and a PGD would better his chances, that was y I gave that advise.
Don't crucify mee, he still has the decision to make.
