i think we need to make a strong request,by sending the immigration minister series of emails, all you need to quote in ur email, is how long it takes to get a visitor visa in nigeria,and stating that you applied long ago,only include details of ur application if u re being asked to reply to the email with some application details.....

I checked CIC website and found dat it takes up to 54 days to process visiting/tourist visa. Mine is over 54 days though n I haven't heard from them. I sent them a mail to remind them about 2 weeks ago n still no response. I just pray we are still considered.

I even replied you on d other thread.

I guess we have to hope and pray now .one thing is certain Jehovah will favour us . Some news on this trend some got there visas approved Thursday I mean may 19 applicant . Any applicant here u know who submitted may 20 have a great weekend

I'm really not sure o. But I just guessed it's for visiting. I kow if it was study, I think he would av been more serious about it. ( I mean tracking)

Why is my visa been delay german embassy Dis is really serious. I don't even know what to do. I'm so disturbed. Cos I have never even heard of anything like it before. Is 6 months already. Can anyone help out?

This thread is scary. I my wife just applied for her mum. We both thought it would take about 2-3 weeks as was the norm so we didn't apply early. I wonder whats going on. Studentd applications are processed in accra so i wonder why lagos vo's are delaying application. na waoh.

Hey , we all ve different ways of dealing with things , I don't track every day does not mean am not serious , guess u don't know after all cos it was study I applied for

Oh sorry, mine is opposite issue. I applied for Nigeria visitor visa to reach Nigeria one day. Not easy to enter Nigeria without prior visa. After around 3 hundred dollars fees and expenses, i have my NG visa after a few weeks of waiting. There was an initial delay and then it was resolved and then just 7 days from then to receiving it in my mail box.
So hard to get Nigeria visa info on Nairaland. Some of us really are outside trying to get in.

My next issue will be how to extend that visa for a longer stay if the need comes.

Finally all thanks to the worthy.. My visa and passport have arrived. I am set to travel now and no need to get another visa for 2 years.

I submitted my canada application for visitors visa on may 7th till now I have not received any response from the embassy.what is wrong ? are they still going to give me the visa.
