This one na omo ina la ran sina(somebody from Borno is now the chief of army staff).I think the dude should know better strategy to adopt to ensure that the territory is safe and Boko Haram menace turn to history.I wish them success on this counter-terrorism task.

That ensures unnecessary purge in the top hierarchy of the army I guess. Employing someone from the lower course would have meant his seniors in the army must go.

I have this strong conviction that these new appointees are proper military guys.

Maj Gen Buratai who was drafted from the MNJTF looks like the perfect fit to wipe out boko haram.

Good appointments.

I like the new COAS....from Borno. (In other words....the guy has no choice....perform or else).

Still, here is hoping we develop new strategies to fight Boko. In brief....we have to improve our unconventional warfare capability.

Congrats to the new service chiefs.....don't expect us to applaud if you fail.
