Have taken a break from the Grisham's... Now reading THE ROBOT OF DAWN by Isaac Asimov.

Long time.

Have you read all Grisham novels?
Which is your best Grisham novel?

Good morning and happy Sunday Ma. smiley

Not all, but have gone far.

Can't really say which is my best cause one seem as good as another. If I'm to choose I'll go for his first novel, A TIME TO KILL cause have read it a dozen times.

How many have you read and which is your favourite.

Was using the app before. Using an epub reader atm. Have you read Isaac Asimov's Foundation? very nice read. I learnt its a series after finishing Foundation's Edge. I downloaded the other books recently. Will dive into it after finishing the Odd series by Dean Koontz.

Haven't read much Grisham but my worst has to be The Summons or so angry Don't think I've been more pissed at the end of the book.

The title of the one I love most eludes me now funny enough. It had a young lawyer that had one crazy case. Think it started with a lunatic that walked into a place and shot some people.

Hehehe. It's either the Kid Lawyer or The Street Lawyer. His story line are sometimes similar; always start with someone raping someone, one shooting another. If someone ask me to narrate , for example, The Street Lawyer, I might end up with A Time To Kill. That's why I need to take a break. The Firm was different though.

Nope. Only Robot of Dawn. I have epub readers, their UI are much better than that of 10000+ .The prob is I don't know where to download books in epub... Any idea?

Happy sunday to you too. Ma ke?

You listed his books, so I thought you have read all.

I have read eight of his books.
My best of his works are "The firm", followed by a "A time to kill"

A dozen times? Wow! lipsrsealed. I have never re-read a novel, when I still have stockpiles that I've not read. If I am to ever do that, it will be my all time favourites; "Master of the game" and "Tell me your dream" by Sidney Sheldon, then "The firm". But I don't see myself doing that anytime soon.

Lol. I was exaggerating. I've only read it twicegrin
That moment when you finish a novel and don't have anything else to read...
The novels I could say I've read a dozen times are Purple Hibiscus, Animal farm, Treasure island, the mayor of casterbridge, etc. Every read is always refreshing.

Yea, I have all his books but haven't read all. You know I need to take sometimes off my phone screen for my dear eyes.

Seems literature texts are competing with human population... Each new titles I come across makes me look like a beginner. Lol.

Btw are you not a 'Ma' cheesy

Grisham just write formulaic stories, he clearly his just in it for the money can't blame the man this is what comes from churning out books of reducing quality every year oddly enough his non Legal books are my favorites.
The same thing happened to Dan brown, james patterson,Jeffery archer and Nicholas sparks.

I tried to read "Mayor of casterbridge" during my secondary school days, but I did not enjoy it. I had to abandon it mid-way.

Lol@ "take sometimes off my phone screen"
I prefer reading in hard copies, so I buy most of the time and borrow once in a while (I buy based on recommendation). I am interested in building my personal library.
I have some in soft copies though. But reading e-books is still pending. smiley
Same here o. We just have to keep up with the literary world.
As per that "ma" stuff, whatever! Jare. undecided

Yes, I have heard of the sequel, but I have not read it.
Likewise, "If tomorrow comes" also has a sequel too- chasing tomorrow by the same author. I will get the sequels soon by God's grace.

Have you by chance read any of the two?
Are they interesting?

I wish there is a sequel to "Rage of angels too. I love that novel like it should not finish.cheesy

Yeah, I have read both sequel,
I think I enjoyed them both,
Though to be honest I can't recall the plot same goes for most of sidney sheldon books.
Check any torrent site you'll get them there.

I had a stock of the hardcopy till something happened to them - flood angry
The few I could save are safely in places I don't know . Till now I'm too lazy or too discouraged to start buying all over again when I still have textbooks to buy.

That's why I'm taking advantage of the ebooks.

Ok forgive me, MISS! cheesy

Sounds true. All his novels seems homogeneous.

Seems Nicholas Spark is the author of Message In A Bottle, right?

Google the book title + .epub. The older the book the higher chance of getting it. Be wary of some sites though, they may keep redirecting you and asking you to sign up. One site gave me a computer virus lol.

Then there's always torrent.

I got a chinese site thats got some good titles all in epub format. They have enoooough Asimov. I can share if you want.

Another option is to download epubator from playstore and convert pdfs to epub. The app does a pretty decent conversion job.

Yeah thanks. That was Street Lawyer, think I mixed it up. The book I wanted to refer to was Rainmaker. Something about a minor court case that was blown outta proportions. That's my best Grisham read.

Re-reading, as is now a yearly ritual, Americanah by humanitarian virtuoso and leading African feminist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
To say it's an excellent read is to state the obvious.
