No one is a perfectionist(even the whitemen themselves) when it comes to dealing wit English language, there comes a time when we make certain grammatical errors which can also be evitable. One of this errors encountered by most when dealing with English is the use of " 's " and " s' " in a sentence. Not to worry if you normally encounter this challenge as the solution is being profered below;
1. When to use " s' ": An apostrophe is added after a noun with a "s" depicting possession of the word that comes after the noun. For example, Smith is the owner of the textbook, It is Smith's textbook.
2. When to use " s' ": This is used in a sentence to indicate possession with a plural noun that end with "s". For example, Where is the girls' bathroom. It is also used to indicate possession with a noun/word that ends with "s". For example, It is Collins' shirt.
