Let's see if Daura will investigate the ordeal as Dasuki did when the Police harassed Speaker Tambuwal since he is denying having any knowledge of the siege.

The poster above me is appears to be the most ridiculous. First he said the operatives had search warrant, but what the operative wanted was to arrest Sambo Dasuki. A person with intention to search will not waste time waiting endlessly to arrest the subject when they had no such warrant(arrest). But this time they placed Sambo virtually on house arrest and his family in Sokoto, yet the poster above me don't see that as siege? I laugh!

The DSS had a warrant to search his house and they did that. How long it took them is not the question but have anyone considered these two..

1. That the DSS never meant to arrest him as the same person that issued the search could have easily issued an arrest warrant

2. The DSS in matters of national security don't need an arrest warrant to make an arrest.

The DSS have come out to say they searched the house (Dansuki opened the door to them) took some things(I expect an inventory to have been made) and they left.

So the DG is right, there was no "seige" just the agents doing their job.

My Sambo Dasuki loves himself more than you love him. He never used the word 'arrest' or 'house arrest'. You have, rightly, quoted his true words and no where in his accounts did he allude to arrest or attempted arrest. The reoccurring words in his statement are 'restriction and search'. I am just an ordinary citizen and I have been restricted and searched several times. I am sure the same thing is happening to millions of Nigerians out there everyday. Public servants have many benefits which come with responsibilities and accountability.

Unlike you I do not hold brief for people. I listen, read, make my own judgement and then contribute as a Patriot.

If the D-G SSS Lawal Daura is not aware of the siege in Col Sambo Dasuki's private house, his family home in Sokoto and the house of his friend Fadile, does that mean that Buhari secretly operates a parallel SSS apart from the SSS that we all know? This is becoming more interesting.
