If he doesnt give the go ahead for a case against a high profile case to be prosecuted through the attorney general,it dies a natural death even before starting. This happened a number of times in the last dispensation which made many termed it a corrupt administration. A lot goes on behind the scenes before efcc prosecutes anyone accused of corruption after receiving a petition(s).

He is alrready doing the Job, and part of that job is to ensure human and infrastructural development, and these can only be achieved by first tackling corruption. And in the fight against corruption, there are no sacred cows!

Reopening the Harliburton's case, is a clear demonstration of the will to fight corruption; for you must not only been seen fighting corruption but also to discourage it in future. and this can only be effective by dealing with all known and documented cases, whether presently or previously. For in the fight against corruption, no stone must be left unturned.

This was what China did, and it pays off for them.

Am afraid nothing will come out of this.

It's just a save face ploy to make Americans believe that Nigeria intends to do something about it prior to Buhari ' s visit to the States. After the visit, the case will be frustrated and nothing will come out of it.

In as much as I want all corrupt individuals to be brought to book, the reality of this happening is rather slim because the current power brokers In Nigeria have at one time or the other all been invovled directly or indirectly in corrupt practices.

If Buhari wants to succeed moving Nigeria forward, he should draw a line in the sand and prosecute any corrupt practices from May 29 2015 onward. This will give his team the much needed time and resource to focus on the 2 most important issues threatening to ruin Nigeria.....Security and the Economy.

....this is a great news as long as all the beneficiaries of corruption including Buhari will be jailed....corrupt politicians sponsored his election. he needs to unravel the source of the private jet he used for campaign. He who that comes to equity must come with clean hands.
