JayKayMaybachz:Not necessarily. I think the speculation was always going to be around us because of the way we threw cash last summer, regardless of how quickly we began the business. Suddenly the excuse that Manchester is always rainy and dull doesn't matter because of the possibility of earning a fat wage. Hence we are an attractive option to be considered at least. |

Angel Di Maria's £45m Paris Saint-Germain move collapses as Man Utd haggle over fee July 23, 2015. Di Maria was thought to be closing in on amove to Franceafter an unhappy first season at Manchester United.Reports yesterday suggested a £45millionfee had been agreed between the two clubs and that Di Maria could be unveiled in America tomorrow. But according tobeIN Sportsthe deal hashit a snag and will now not go ahead. Importantly,beIN Sportsis the media outlet owned by Nasser Ghanim Al-Khelaifi, the same man who owns PSG. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/593219/Angel-Di-Maria-Manchester-United-PSG-collapse I was updating on Di Maria, but ChristineC decided to attack me. So I left it. The same people who reported the news also reported few hours later that the deal had hit a rock... |

elampiro:forget that thing, these are just cocck strokings. no quotes from people that matter, just wild imaginations from igbo joints - abegi.... make we discuss more tangible stuff. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 12:25am On Jul 25, 2015 |
SailorXY:When I reported Darmian, there was no quote from any 'people that matter'. Same with Mephis. Darmian was a rumour that started in Italy. Italian journalist. Twitter sef. You just know it when news or rumours look serious. Even those who said Gaal told Di Maria to hand in a transfer request. Can they bring any quote from 'people that matter'? I doubt. When I google that news, I did not see any quote. |

Guys e be like say de di maria deal don collapse and LVG is expecting both him n Rojo to join d squad today. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 7:44am On Jul 25, 2015 |
Leyqute:I think it's true that there was something going on, but the parties couldn't reach an agreement. Which means the buying party has to indicate much serious interest for the deal to happen. I have not heard Gaal coming out categotically to say Di Maria, Di Gea are not for sale. It means if certain conditions are meant, he might just let it fly. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SailorXY: 9:27am On Jul 25, 2015 |
elampiro: Since being sent off against Arsenal on 9 March Di María has not started a match as United have turned in some of their finest displays under Van Gaal. “The manager and the club is always dependable on the opinion of the player himself,” the Dutchman said of Di María’s future.www.theguardian.com/football/2015/may/01/louis-van-gaal-angel-di-maria-old-trafford-manchester-united I believe this is self-explanatory for elampiro, dopejemi & parrotibaba. LvG got tired of answering the stupid question every interview when he has said the player decides & the player has said "I'm not here for only one season. I'm here to win trophies & be a historical part of this club." so anything una wan conjure from those joints na una sabi. besides, everything is for sale, its a matter of price. |

Are dey going to show the match on dstv today |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by RuuDie(m): 10:54am On Jul 25, 2015 |
I don't like lvg; he inspires very little confidence in me. I don't think he will bring this club any success or stability, short or long-term. What this club needs more than anything else is what Simeone brought to Athleti... That passion, that hunger, that drive and fire... I do not see it coming from lvg. |

RuuDie:Boss how far na? LvG has his way of doing things. I don't understand most of them, but let's see how he fares this season. If he doesn't win the league I want him out. Chikena |

RuuDie:Dude lost me on that a while ago. We thought it had something to do with youth development. Instead it seems like it's more to do with "my way or the highway" . |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 11:24am On Jul 25, 2015 |
There are many aspects to LVG's so called "philosophy". 1) The players believe and obey him in all things and do things his way. 2) The players play a style that gives the team the best balance and results rather than improve individual stats. 3) The players play with cohesion, patience and aim to control the tempo of the game. Zlatan went against Article 1 at Ajax, Rivaldo went against Article 2 at Barca, and i suspect Di Maria has gone against Article 3 at United. |
