The aftermath of the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the United States recently would not be forgotten so soon as the President, while speaking to a group of Nigerians in Washington D.C, mistakenly mentioned that the school girls kidnapped last year in Chibok local government in Borno state, were abducted from “ their hotels” instead of “their hostels”. While speaking at the United States, National institute of Peace, Buhari said: In the face of abduction of innocent school girls from their hotels, indiscriminate bombings of civilians in markets and places of worship, our forces have remained largely impotent, because they do not possess the appropriate weapons and technology which we could have had.
