Can you see how simple and down to earth their dressing were ? No wedge shoes , no expensive handbags , no gold or silver necklace covering their necks . No Brazilian hair or most importantly no make up ! They just come simple . Natural looks , normal cheap bags , cheap sandals and very moderate gowns .

I just wish our sisters can learn how that life is simple and stop bothering your husband for all those things . Be contented with what you have and be happy . Now I get your point & I'm glad you acknowledge that they're just keeping up appearances. So my next question would be, why would an ordinary citizen want to emulate that, when it's not even real or at least not how they'd have normally dressed if they weren't under public scrutiny? In other words, they (the Obamas) are just dressing up to their current roles. Like actors dressing according to a script. "In character". But in reality, they're just like the rest of us, if it weren't for their individual responsibilities as the representatives of the 1st family & America as a nation.
