My opinion on gay rights and gay marriage is quite liberal: I do not believe that the best way to deal with gays and lesbians is to imprison or kill them.
While I must confess my skepticism about the legalization of gay marriage,I would like to admit that persecution of LGBTs is a serious crime against humanity,simply because it isnt their fault that they are lesbians or gay.
I strongly believe that homosexualism is a Psycho-Hormonal Defect: which can be either inborn,hereditary or caused by socio-environmental influence.
But how do we deal with this?: By establishing rehabilitation centres where people who are discovered to be LGBTs can be treated and councilled over a period of time,before they are then released back into the society.
This is the only way we can protect the rights of the minority and equally satify the majority.
Nigerian law does not directly forbid private homosexual intercourse; it only forbids homosexual marriage and public show of homosexuality.
