I just wish we could pursue someone like griezmann instead of Pedro as his replacement. ..
I won't lie am not sold on Pedro
The only transfer I didn't have any doubt about is Morgan from Soton.

and you seriously think this would have made him change his mindset?
He would have stayed if he were guaranteed regular starting appearances. But we know that is not possible for now.

I read too, Argentina national team coaches said something like Gaal treatment of Di Maria negatively affected the rythm of his game.

However, if I were a world class footballer, I wonder what on earth would make me play in France when I have the opportunity of playing for a club as Manchester United in an exciting league as EPL.

Please, i would want to know as well.

I have to admit that we were wrong about Di Maria and the late season surge of 2013-14.
I'm sure coogar is laughing somewhere.
Pietrorico actually called it from the get go.

Even before Coogar.

I think ADM is far better than we saw here, but somewhere along the line couldn't be arsed to turn up anymore.

If you dig deep, you might find that there may have been an agreement between PSG and ADM as early as last September.

Does it make sense to you that PSG are signing this guy for 40 mill+ and higher wages on the back of a poor injury-hit season?

Me neither.

how can he be guaranteed regular starting berths when he had an under par season? Every player in d team with d exception of de gea n Rooney ,sat on d bench at one point in time during last season so what's d fuss? Let's hope he wouldn't chicken out of PSG when it gets tough over there. At the moment ,I'm content with Mata handling the right wing should we not go for another signing in dat department.

I think u r right ,he chose PSG n could hv gone there if they were FFP free ,it would mk sense dat PSG was his backup plan should he fail at united. Jorge Mendez is having a laugh in one bar in Paris.

You should understand what I mean. All things being equal, he was not suppose to be on the bench. Otherwise he wouldnt have signed for us. We didn't pay British record for a player to sit on the bench.

It's unfortunate he didn't participate in the preseason to claim his place as first choice. He probably look at the fact that he will have to wait for opportunity to get into the team.

The whole thing is mind boggling.
Di Maria has been quoted as saying he would want to improve on his debut season.
If indeed there were an agreement, which is not out of place or impossible, I'm wondering why nearly 60 million pounds of transfer fee would be involved.
I'm sure PSG didn't expect FFP to be waived off as early as it was.

you have good memory...
No one doubts that he is better than what we saw here... .
The initial issue was his over pricing (some rumours were claiming Madrid wanted as much as €90m back then, imagine)

The other issue is his attitude... After he finally joined
That's what everyone is disappointed at..

I don't know why some united fans are sad Di Maria is leaving. Good player but was never a united player. He played like somebody on clutches last season. Ordinary young benched him and you guys are sympathizing/empathizing with him. Please the guy should hurry and leave lets arrange for Reus or Griezman because me no see anything for pedro ooo.

It's not about being sad.
It's more of being disappointed with the fellow.
He could have been man enough to hand in a transfer request instead of b*tching and missing a plane for reasons best know to him which only go to influence speculation.

He said he was ready to fight for his place and improve this season.

It's really disappointing.

Di Maria will ruin himself. He ran away from la liga for unclerified reasons, now he's leaving man utd under shameful circumstance. He doesn't have the character to remain in Europe, he'll end up in Argentina in 2-3 seasons. Robinho's incarnate.

I wish him all the best.
I thank him for his services to us.
He may not have lit up the joint like we all thought he would but he once wore our shirt and we were thrilled by him even if it was for the slightest period.

Nothing more.

i am starting to dislike van gaal......whats he waiting for? if di maria leaves, we have no other choice than to spread £70m on marco reus or antoine griezman. we need to make a statement to the renties & the gooners that we ain't messing about. di maria would def'ly prefer france to england.....the footie here is too physical & he would be guaranteed plenty of goals & assists in france where PSG's rivals are about 2 or 3.

Mr Plato the philosopher thinks otherwise. He's in the market for Pedro. The CB signings are still pending, if indeed they were ever on.

My problem with the Di Maria saga is that we shoulda seen this coming.
How does one quit Real Madrid at the height of a successful season on the back of a "contract" dispute?
Dude is in to quiting for the flimsiest of reasons.

pedro would be another navas. lots of endeavour but no power to carry his imaginations through. we need a goal-scoring wing forward and fast! mr plato is making grave mistakes in this window and he would pay dearly for it when the season kicks off. by october, valencia would be benching pedro.

he was actually good for the first half of the season then his house got burgled by some chelsea fans in cheshire & his form suffered terribly. good luck to him abeg. when one door closes, another should open.

Silly excuse in my book

Ronaldo crashed a Ferrari during the course of a season. It didn't deter him from wrecking shop in the Premier League.

The guy is a sissy.

you go see.....
those players have been thoroughly coached to play the spanish way, if you take them out of it, they become sissies. the reason sanchez is a success for arsenal is because he's a very physical player. he wants the ball & he hustles for it. if you take the ball from him, he would come back for you and nick it back. pedro hustles a lot too but damn......we shouldn't pass the opportunity of signing either reus, KDB or griezmann.

ronaldo is a beast!
he's the most driven player to succeed on the planet. he wasn't actually born with bundle of skills, he earned it here by working hard and staying after practise to actually practise more.......unlike a fat cow i cannot even mention this lovely sunday afternoon. grin
