No they don't have a case against him yet ,they arrested him on suspicion of murder while they are trying to gather evidence.If he has a good lawyer,he might get a bond until they have strong evidence to arrest and prosecute him.

Just like if a wife/husband dies,the first suspect is the spouse.

They have enough evidence, usually they don't share it with the media or public until the trial begin
Trust me this man is looking at spending the rest of all his adult life in jail, he is lucky Texas would have put him on death row
He will get a fair trial and trust me, it will only take a miracle to see this man free again
