stinggy:You don't know you're saying, truth are hidden in this country! Ifeajuna is seen as a saboteur in igboland why? if he truly deliberately left se leaders, but in igboland if they call you ifeajuna it means saboteur. I'm not a fan of Zik, but happened was that, awolowo went to north and promised them prime minister, came to Zik and promised him the same thing. why would he do such a thing? he never knew Zik would call sarduna and he was told that awolowo sent people to him over the same issue. they saw him untrustworthy because of that act and went and aligned. Awolowo betrayed Ojukwu, because Aburi accord is still there for all to see! you guys are twisting everything in your favour.. can you deny all these facts I enumerated? |

patrick89:Funny enough, I'm not a fan of Awolowo also. But truth has to be told. The fact that Ifeajuna means what you claim it means now doesn't in anyway negate the fact that he betrayed his group and deliberately allowed those he was meant to capture slip off. He lend credence to this by not even communicating others before he bolted off (if actually he never meant to betray them). Aburi accord Awolowo wasn't even present when the accord was brokered. It happened between Jan 4-5 when he was still in prison and it was an effort to avoid the looming war.Awolowo and Ojukwu only discussed Biafra in Enugu where Awolowo told him "If Igbos are forced out of Nigeria, he(Awolowo) will have to take Yorubas out too". How did Awolowo betray Ojukwu? If actually Ojukwu signed warrant of Awolowo's release, why did it have to wait for so long until it coincided with the order given by Lt.Col Yakubu Gowon at the head of the revenge coup, for him to be released and granted amnesty? Gowon subsequently elevated him. |

kingsolex:My thunder strike you to death if you are genuinely bred Yoruba man/woman. If you are truly a Yoruba man, then you are a bastard. However, to all the Igbos who might certainly masturbate over this gibberish, you are only deluding yourselves. That op must be on some sort of substance for saying Yorubas betrayed or whatever...... |

HiGod:Of course, the Op is not yoruba but a typical wannabe..........By their fruits/utterances one can clearly discern them. If he/she talks like a.........walk like a..........sounds like a........reason like a .............THEN undoubtedly he or she is a flattie! |

new2020:Look at this eediot! What stopped your papa and others from tendering their bank teller if they truly had money in the bank? It was documented that people who had their teller got back their money except ibo thieves who had none yet these thieves were given 20 pounds which was huge money at that time! You eediot should blame Ojukwu and his biafran men who invaded and attacked the midwestern region and Ore! Has the biafran apologised for what they did at benin and ore? Bunch of losers! |

damosthottest:Old boy, it's simple logic. Ojukwu had no power to release a federal prisoner in his region but if he did, which would havr been tantamount to a jailbreak, Awo would have been re-arrested once back in Nigeria. The prison staffs in calabar get their pay from the federal govt/Gowon and not Ojukwu who at the time in question, was still getting his monthly pay from the federal govt |

Thats because its nairaland and not biafraudland. Acts of treason would not be tolerated. If i were seun, i will also ban all known biafran monikers for life. Get out of the zoo forum and go create one in your large fishpond. Only jah knows wat would have happened if nairaland was owned by an ibo. Nigeria for no hear word once and person no go rest with the amount of chestbeating that would have been regular routine damosthottest: |
