You are right will try giving it a try , do you get hotbird with 2.4M dish in kano where you reside ?

it's not even an issue of trial,with a good lnb,you should get hotbird,cos here in the south south,you'll need over 4m to nail that bird,so in the north,2.4 should at least be enough....goodluck!

Infact, it is smaller than the neck of my 1.8m dish because I adjusted that neck from my 1.8m neck. I want to change the location of the pole and bring the dish very low to the ground. I am thinking of maybe selling this dish and getting a 4m fiber or pan dish. Those around Northern Nigeria should be able to receive most satellites with this size.

I am awaiting someone with a 4m pan installation in south south region to see the power of the signal by these local pan dishes.

local dishes here don't fare-off better than imported 3.4 metre dishes,ask around and confirm for yourself!

please i want to track eutelsat 7B where we have Mbc rodgriegue .......using 90cm dish, standing behind the dish from dstv position, will i turn it to right or left....? and it possible to eutelsal 7 and 10 with one LNB
if i want track champion tv ................from dstv position will i bring it down slowly till i hit green

E7A,7B = Move dish to the right.Due South is the actual position.
YAMAL 402 = Move dish to the left.

And yes you will have to lower the dish in the case of YAMAL 402.Slightly above Emmanuel TV or former MY TV position.

Then input 11008V 5000 to get Champion TV.
