Religion is a scam, a slavery and Racism

Absolutely correct. The world would have been a better place without organized religion. Even the colonialists who invented religion has since realized it's a sham and keeps abandoning it but Africans particularly Nigerians are yet to realize the fraud behind religion.

We have more churches than schools and hospitals combined in Nigeria but still are the most criminally minded nationals in the world.

The EARLY CHURCH, men saw their life styles and called them CHRISTIANS but the MODERN CHURCH perhaps through our carrying of bible men will assume we are CHRISTIANS because there is no correlation between our lives and the Christian faith.

The early church would preach contentment, and separation of the church from the worlds politics and madness, but todays church would preach prosperity and the acquiring of material wealth as an evidence of being a servant of God, and also getting immersed in the worlds politics thereby bringing reproach on The name of God and His Son...

Same thoughts here bro except as president, I'll make all religious affairs government matter! That is all tithes and offerings in all religious sects payable to government! And all pastors and imams etc occupying government offices and getting salaries like other civil servants and all yearly audits carried out as at when due. It will bring a lot of sanity into the system as people will truly worship God! I the days of old as seen in the Bible, governments controlled religion so where and when did these thieves break free?

You are so wrong!

If you read read your bible very well you would know that it is the Lord that is building His church. And I know He is doing a very good job. But you, by your post, think He is not doing a good job, and that He left the church today worse than the early church.
If you also study your bible very well, you would know that the glory of the later house is far better than that of the former. Besides, the path of the righteous is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. In other words, the church is better and more effective today than it was back then. The church will be better next year than it is today. That's how it works. Why? Becaue the Lord who builds His church neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Stop looking at the wrong thing. If God was looking at the sin of the world He wouldn't have sent the Lord Jesus to save the world. So when you look at the church, look with the eyes of the Spirit.

The early church shared what they had in common, but that was not a commandment. When the Apostle Paul came on the scene, the church had grown spiritually and numerically, so they were no longer doing that. The Apostle Paul took the work of the ministry to another level and to distant lands outside Israel. So the church had grown beyond 120, and so couldn't be sharing things in common. They now had churches here and there, and were not even meeting at the same place.

Don't find yourself saying that church is worldly, and worse than the early church. That's not the way the spiritually minded talk. Do I mean there are no challenges in the church? A thousand times no. But we share the word with those who are facing challenges to their walk with the Lord and pray for them, adding that which every joint should supply, and thereby cause growth and development in His body. Don't join the devil and spread evil words about the church.

The early church practiced true christainity. The modern church is mixed with deception.

Early church was still close to its Jewish origins. All disciples were Jews. When people jump into what they don't understand, how can they do it well? Fact is we blacks are doing copy cat believing they are now Abraham's children without knowing what the Bible means by it. Early church knew what Christianity was truly about. Now anything goes.

makes me also wonder why we have so many churches even on one street, sometimes up to 4. pls what is the essence? Romans 15 vs 20. why cat everyone be like Paul?

In as much as you have a point, most of us were born into the modern system as it is, we tend to get most of these informations about the early church from books written by our ancient fathers and a little other stories from our grandparents. Nobody wants to practice what they have read or heard when there are easier ways of going about it or avoiding it completely

The early church was full of love they “had all things in common” and there were zeal for God. Today's church seems to have lost that “first love” that the early church had that first love, that zeal for God, and that evangelistic fever has faded somewhat today

The early had God’s Word in the form of the apostles teaching.

Today's church have new testament.

The early church was much more evangelistic than the church is today. They did not tolerate open and unrepentant sinning as some churches do today.

There are too many divisions and man-made doctrinal obstacles placed before believers, such as requirements to be saved works:

The exact reason I don't like going to these churches. I don decern Gods spirit.

The only thing left is praise and Worship. The rest na rubbish.
