Ika can be part of Biafra if they choose to but if they decide to be called ika people rather than igbo people I feel its best they are respected and identified as who they are.

The itsekiris for example answer both igbo and yoruba names,....does that make them yoruba or igbo?...NO, they are itsekiris....
The Ika people cant come out tomorrow to say all other igbos are Ika and not igbo...I'm sure igbos from imo, abia, anambra, enugu and ebonyi won't accept such pronouncement from the Ika people.

The few times that I have read your comments especially on the Igbo issue, I can see that you are one who uses logic. It's not safe to say most Delta Igbos deny being Igbo. It is safe to say that people from the Ika and Ukwuani axis are the ones who majorly deny being Igbo but not people from Aniocha and Oshimili. Okocha for instance will not come and tell you that he is not Igbo but Sunday Oliseh can do that and they are both from Delta state.

When the time is right, Okowa will tell you that he is not Igbo and like always, you will be crestfallen or of youre lucky he might belong to the less than ten percent who are not ashamed of calling themselves Igbos. In fact, you are right. My point is simple. The Ikas and Ukwuani will tell both an Igbo or non Igbo that they are not Igbo. The Aniocha and Oshimili on the other hand know that they are Igbo and have no qualms with being called Igbo even though they may not carry the Igbo matter on their head like someone from Anambra for example. I have also experienced a situation whereby my Okpanam brother that we have our Igbo chit chat once in a while when in the presence of some ignorant Non Igbos was asked "How come you are the member of a South South group and still Igbo". I tried to help him answer the question by telling these people that there are in indeed Igbo people in Delta state only to be dazed by his response. He said "We speak similar language and I schooled in Onitsha." As you can see, he didn't deny being Igbo bit he wasn't proud of it either. That's the story of a lot of Anioma people. They think identifying with the Igbo tag will limit them in some way.

The problem with some of you is that you have a very faint idea of what you argue most times ,most of the valiant biafran soldiers are from delta, Nzeogwu is delta, Joe Achuzia is delta, Raph Uwechue who was the president of ohaneze ndigbo was a deltan and a biafran.
