Guess I should start preparing for the worst since they obviously didn't see the need to wait for the "additional documents".

VO wants some additonal documents from you with regards to your application or wants some documents you submitted updated with more recent copies eg bank statements. Guess you took paper route, if it were online all you needed to do was log in MyCIC download letter from VO and obtain and then upload the document requested on a link VO would provide. Paper route except things have changed you may need to go to VFS Lekki just to obtain the additional document request letter and also return to same location to send requested document back to CIC. No b small thing but at least it shows your application is progressing but check the email stated on your application if by chance the document request letter is there.

Hey pal, stop worrying! If your document re incomplete or they need additional documents..! The will send your whole package to you and ask you to update and resubmit..! get the negative thoughts out of ur mind! You're stronger than this.

You got the 1st mail around 7:23pm and the 2nd mail about 2 hours later.... And you did upfront medicals.

I'm optimistic you've been issued your TRV

Lemme be the first to congratulate you in advance.

When you get your TRV, I'll quickly drop a personal advice for you...

It's not visa.
It's only his passport that wil be in the dispatched folder alongside a letter that tells him the required document.
So he will include the required document back in the folder with his passport and resend.

He just needs to call Vfs to know when his passport is ready for pick up at the office.

He sud also try to call VAC if he cud be told d required docs so he cud take it along when his passpot gets to vfs.

Emulate @hayqinsFx faith. Having seen the faith of trv hopefuls in here (such that can make a blind to see ) it will be wise for you to mail the international centre asking for extension as to when to join not minding the outcome of the expected mail from cic. Putting the ff into consideration;
1). Your yet to be called for Medicals, which might come anytime soon.
2) from the thread, to chop ur trv takes likely 2weeks from date Medicals was done (I lay down to be corrected o! )

Lastly, don't think it's admissible to do upfront now since u already have applied.
Now is time for high hopes & prayers.
It's well with us, we will surely have our testimonies.....

Good day my very good people. Please I need an urgent clarification. I am already swimming in the pool but, sincerely i have been applying for pnp and job offer to boost e.e point. None of the 2 has yielded result up till now. On a second thought, I decided applying to a cost-less university in Canada and continue my e.e things once admitted. Unfortunately, all univ. require the gmats/gre for admission to my field. Now I am thinking of applying to a college for post-graduate diploma (PGD). Note, not ordinary college diploma. I already have an MBA in business field though. These are my questions;

1. Will one be able to secure canadian student visa easily going by the above as compared to a university?
2. Is it compulsory i make first semester remittance from nigeria before i get letter of acceptance?
3. Is there any difference between letter of acceptance and offer letter? If yes, which of them is a requirement at the embassy.
4. Lastly, the account balance expected by the embassy for a student visa, is it to contain * Your total tuition fee or * Tuition + other fees.

Would appreciate succinct responses.

Mine is exactly 60 days today.
School resumes second week in September.
I am beginning to think that this might be intentional delay to applicant to join January start as they have reached the "proverbial quota for September"
At this pace most of us will have to defer till January.

It's not a question of being on a queuee again....because we can see latter applicants getting repliees....
