I want to make certified copies of my documents at the German embassy, does any one know how much it will cost? Or I should just stick to a notary public though the school informed me the embassy is preferable. Thanks

Certification of documents at the German embassy is free of charge. WARNING: Go with as much copies you want to certify as possible. Embassy will charge you NGN1,200 per page to make photocopy for you.

Oga Jahjehovah!! one of the pioneering member of this great thread. Your contributions are still well entrenched in my own mind.
The in house interview featured people like Ogbeche77, Emeka55, Kelly4top, Topeajis, and so on and so forth in the last edition.
Thanks for bracing this occasion. You can take your time to entertain these questions
1. Please, introduce yourself,
course, school and city.
2. How does German educational system differ
from the system you were used to?
3. What academic challenge(s) did you face or are
you facing currently and how are/did you tackling/
tackle them?
3. What is your (academic) advise to prospective
Nigerian student coming over to study?
(summarised)
4. Do your school have a sizeable number of
international students and what is the state of
interaction like with them?
5. Did you find it difficult integrating into the
society and how were you able to overcome it if
you had?
6. In your opinion, do you think a hard working
Nigerian student with a particular result can
maintain his/her academic performance in
Germany with the same efforts? A scale will be
appreciated, I know time is not the only or the
best measure of hard work but For instance,
A spends 6 hours of study everyday in Nigeria,
GPA=4
". ". ". ". ". ". ". in Germany GPA=?
7. Like in any society, there are distractions or
factors that reduces performance, what are the
major culprits in Germany for an unenlightened
Nigerian JJC?
8. Most of the male or even females at one time or
the other would have fantasized having a German
Prince or princess, what are their chances? Do the
shy Germans gals take to Nigerians? Can Ahbie, crowns or Amahtrendy get their prince charming easily?
9. List 5 most important items an intending new
comer should bring along to Germany.
10. Give 5 most important tip to surviving in
Germany, jobs and all.
11 on a scale of 1-10 rate your city in terms of hustle and the closest best place in terms of jobs to your city
11. Just give your opinion on these claims below
by indicating with an Agree (A), Neutral (N) or
Disagree (D)
a. Germans are cold
b. They hate late coming
c. They are racist
D. They don't have time for chitchat
E. They are introverts
F. They love beer
P.s. I understand that these questions may be too
much to answer at a go, you can answer them bit
by bit at your convenience if its gonna take its toll
on you. Thank you and God bless.

Can you please give us the names of those universities that will accept HND or Msc? Even if that is possible, how many students can boast of distinction?

Please do not just swallow everything you read from their website.Visit a NOUN Study and you will find out that the information on the website is not as up to date as to what you will find.

I tell you that NOUN accept Distinction HND FOR MSC.

Let you sight another NOUN example for you. NOUN has not published admission for Bsc Nursing for over 5 years but I tell you that they have a graduating BSC Nursing class this November.what happened is simple. some prospective students visited study centers and were told by counselors that Bsc Nursing is available (for RN holders) and they got admitted .

The Reason I am so sure about this HND is because some of my Pals are at NOUN Benin Study center and they got admitted based on their HND distinction.

My man; it was nice meeting you as well. You too much!

I must also thank all of you who have kept this thread alive - taking time to share experiences - both success stories and otherwise at the consulate, make suggestions, render advice and all. Would be no mean feat to list y'all one by one lol ona toooo much! This is the best thread ever!

For the guys who are yet to do their respective interviews, just digest the entire thread or at least PART TWO if you can't handle the entire length due to constraints. Beleive me, with that, you're 95.5% good to go (the remaining 4.5% na the questions wey dem don de add small small -one or two or three wey dem been no dey ask before).

For those of you who are awaiting your visas (post-interview), I wish y'all THE VERY BEST!! ...

I will always remain loyal to this thread (na pledge be dis o) lol anybody wey need any clarification shouldn't hesitate to "mention" me.

Danke "everyone'!

Hello guys,
If u get easily pissed don't read this.
I be dey think within person go carry from naija enter Germany. U know say the years plenty, books, clothes laptop, what exact should one take along. Any idea?
I would take as much clothes as I can, less shoes cause shoes are not so cost. Go to the shop called Deichmann. U will buy beautiful shoes for cheap prices. Take ur laptop of course, and a few books. U should be fine. U will adjust later. And ur family can always post whatever u forgot or need through DHL

I don't want to flog this issue anymore in order not to derail the thread since this is not NOUN thread. However, the last time I checked, NOUN operates a centralised system where everything is being control by the HQ starting from admission , tma, exam marking, release of results, transcripts and so on are all done at the HQ in Lagos. Which means no study center can single handedly give any student admission without it being regulated from the HQ. As for Nursing issue, it was NUC that stopped them from admitting student about 3yrs ago and since then they have not admit any until this semester in which NUC has granted them interim accreditation to run nursing program. Those that graduated now are those that have been admitted before the NUC directive. Shalom
