Orange juice for a 3wk old baby? Like seriously I know babies less than a year old ain't supposed to take citrus fruits cos of the citric acid in it. Are you pretty sure its safe?

I gave my son when he had some constipation. I checked with my paed and she said it was fine.

It's a few tea spoons of the juice not a whole orange. And its not to be added to the daily diet. Just for that one off occurrence of constipation.

Please o, for immunization is PCV (pneumoccoca) compulsory, I want to pay for Rotavirus which is 7k, and I was told PCV is 9k and I know both are optional but I don't want to risk anything. @nursekaffybill please is it absolutely necessary.

Other immunizations are free, just Rotavirus and Pneumoccoca, please check your immunization card, I know most government hospitals and health centers do not give Rotavirus and pneumoccoca cos it's not subsidized by the government you have to pay for it

About the itchy tips no idea, experienced mum's will help handle that.

We got the 2 injections today on special request @ LASUTH for N14,400. Was told Rota is just 2 doses while the other is 3 while the others are free. I have no regrets for going that far all the way from Igando. Service delivery was superb.
Now nursing high temperature and a very cranky baby, after 1 injection each on both legs.

My dear I was surprised myself we weren't up to 30 and I left @ exactly 11am, very well organised with very mature people. Me that went there very early had to wait almost 3 hours before they came and mothers didn't start coming till around 8am, those that got there at 10am were attended to also. Thanks a lot dear, he seems a little calm now.

This is so serious...why will some vaccines be free and others be taking with money?...these are things we should be enjoying in this country cos we deserve good quality and accessible health care at least we pay our tax...#sighs
Not matter what,God undying care will continue to protect our children...they'll never fall prey to any sickness or disease...we'll live old to enjoy the fruit of our labour...God will bless them, they will flourish and become great in life...AMEN

I know 3 states in the East give it free. Its a three shots vaccine. I'm shocked some states are paying for it. They should at least subsidise it. Sometimes we need to use govt hospitals or health centres for the common vaccines. They are actually d best cos they don't store the drugs. I rem when I went to give my baby vaccine in one of the big top three hospital in Lagos. We were 2 that needed that one, we were asked to go home cos they can't open it cos we were not many that needed it. I was shocked, we packaged ourselves and went home. I use govt hospital for immunisation.

My 9weeks old baby had the same. I got sebamed shampoo that I use to wash his hair twice a week but I continue using coconut oil to moisturise like 30 mins before combing and his scalp is fine now and his hair still full and curly grin grin grin
Thank you so much for this. You wash his head twice a week. What of the other days of the week..? Please kindly reply. Thanks again
