I had a female freind who thinks there are some things which if a man do,cld make him weak,e.g,cry when something bad happens,or shout when she tries to help press a swollen injury,although dat made me strong inwardly,cos I didn't want her to see me as weak which she never did till we neva saw again

I suspect your friend is probably not used to seeing men cry. I grew up the youngest in my family, so I never saw my brothers cry neither as children nor as adults. My father, even through disease (cancer), tragedy, or the death of his family members has never given evidence of so much as one shed tear, or wet eyes. Even my mother I didn't see cry until I was maybe sixteen-ish. I think seeing her tears, which were more than warranted, distressed me more so than what was actually going on at the time. So, you can color me - the daughter of calm - absolutely flabbergasted when I started dating, and seeing honest-to-goodness tears, outbursts, and the like.
