There is nothing incorrect in what they presented instead what they presented is based on facts presented to them as at then which they knew wasn't complete. They stated that their observations needs to be updated as soon as these facts are available.
They are on -line and they never went against any accounting/finance ethic
they were denied access to relevant data. That should have made them withdraw

Then if they're the reputable firm u paint them to be, they should have discontinued d auditing andd wash their hands off it. Read accounting ethics
Rubbish. Thats ur opinion and it has nothing to do with accounting ethics. They reported the truth based on facts presented to them albeit incomplete and also informed their employers that as soon as additional info they requested for is available, there is need to update the report.
How is this against accounting ethics? do u even know what the ethnic say?

they were denied access to some and some relevant data was also given to them. Those given to them was what they worked on while stating that their report will be updated as soon as the denied ones were available.

Buhari met an empty treasury and need to ascertain what went wrong. I believe Nigerians are satisfied with anti-corruption crusade so far. Based on the president's stance on corruption, everybody is falling in line. People are scared to steal, people who have stolen are worried about themselves - they cannot even spend the money. These days, we don't see people flashing their wealth on the covers of newspapers so that EFCC will not remember you. Civil servants are more diligent with their work. NNPC is weeding out bad people and now wants to operate as a business. Electricity is fairly stable without any infuses of funds (I find this one strange. I called Eko Power Customer Care and complained and they restored back our light).

To me, Buhari must run for two terms. First term, get rid of corruption and corrupt people. Second term, implement strong economic programmes to elevate us to greater height. A fight on corruption is a fight against the wicked Elites taking this country backward. Lets not be myopic to term it a fight against some ethnic group.

For real?!
shocked cheesy

Great move by PMB. I hope it won't be like the GEJ style where reports will be swept under the carpet.

And in any sector they see no money missing buhari and his apc should refund the money paid to the auditors. Oppression save our money while we go hungry is on.

have u heard anything about the term ethics in accounting and financial auditing? They owed it as a point of duty to have intimated their employers(the FG) the constraints they were encountering in carrying out the audit. Brother, no matter how good you were, a bad job erases all d good u might've done.
They made their employers know and put all their limitations in the report.

An audit should be a routine thing. It is not always to find fraud. It also helps to improve financial controls.

That is not how it works. In a normal audit, they will qualify the report.

Did you know that Space Bookers have a high chance of becoming millionaires by the time they are 40 years of age?

Did you know that Space Bookers also have a high chance of playing football for Nigeria in their sixties?
You cant really blame the space bookers, you know Nigerians don't like reading and 80% of people visiting the thread wouldn't read beyond the first page, 95% wouldn't read beyond the second page and 99% wouldn't read beyond the first comment on the third page.

So if your opinion must be heard, you have to find a way of siting it in a choice plot of land in a high brow area. grin

But wait O! Is it not this same PWC that submitted NNPC Audit Report to GEJ? Dem say money no miss, then money miss, then dem no even know..

How are we sure they won't publish what PMB wants to see, then when he's about to leave offices, they'll start confessing again. That organization should be expelled from this country.

- I see some big names on the prision list.
- I see physically big robust men and women looking like broom sticks in the future
- I see plea bargains everywhere.
- I see Corruption in Nigeria recieving a huge blow below the belt.

All the 'Big Fishes' are thieves in one way or the other. Thus, no 'Big Fish' will go to jail. Only doz without sufficient financial and/or political clout risk indictment. And sadly, dis refers to d common man.

Why not spend the second term recovering money looted in the first?

Abi you think say corruption will just disappear in the next 4 years?

Btw on the issue of stable power. Some people invested money in the gas turbine in the last few years and took real steps that are leading to improved electricity.
