The paramount ruler of Torukongo community in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, who is also the president of the Concerned Youths of the Niger Delta (CYND), Chief John Ochi (JP), has said that ex-militant leader, Ateke Tom would give maximum support to President Muhammadu Buhari’s government contrary to insinuations making the round in some quarters.

The paramount ruler also refuted rumours that Ateke planned to support the resurrection of the defunct Biafra Republic, saying that it was all an attempt to frame the repentant warlord.

“Northerners should realise that the only brother they have is the Niger Delta. During the war, Biafrans buried many of our fathers alive. That was why when Adaka Boro was released in Lagos, he joined the Nigerian side to liberate us from the Biafrans so there is no way Ateke can join Biafrans today.

“The Igbos then used us as slaves in our land. Former President Ibrahim Babangida, realising this, gave us NAFCON, NLNG, Petrochemical and Refinery Phase 2 which employed several of our youths but today, many of these companies have been sold out”, Chief Ochi said.

He added that; “Ateke has done a lot for the Niger Delta. His recourse to freedom fighting was due to the oil being produced here which we were not benefitting from and his love for the country led him to embrace amnesty and he has not looked back since then in promoting peace.”

Chief Ochi, however, said that the plan by President Buhari to probe only the administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was unacceptable and queried why the Niger Delta freedom fighters were not invited before he went ahead to appoint a military man to head the amnesty programme rather than a civilian as the freedom fighters are his children.

He said that Ateke was given the title of the Voice of the Niger Delta and high chief due to his good works and urged all and sundry to be wary of those trying to frame him up.

Igbos are not interested in non-Igbos of SS. Igbos have not forgotten the abandoned properties and at such do not trust them fully. There's oil in Anambra, Abia, Enugu and Imo. The whole of Enugu and Anambra States are sitting on Gas deposits; Coal at Enugu, Lime stone for cement in Abakaliki; rice in Ebonyi State; West Africa's largest market at Onitsha, Anambra; big markets at Aba, Abia state and Nnewi, Anambra...I could go on and on.

Libya without river created an artificial ocean and it's functioning very well. Switzerland and Austria are landlocked. Israel turned desert to fertile ground. With technology Igbos can change their world.

Radio Niger Delta created year 2015.

Hahahaha buhari and his cohorts couldn't even try to leave without crumps trailing them. how sad of a country. you cannot stop a radio station despite multiple attempts, failing so much you decide to imitate them just to counter them using pretense.

Okay...but just at the mere mention of Biaf...you and your folks will shout, cry, weep, wail, yell, curse and make much noise on every available media with thick mucous dripping down your smelly noses as if your life sustenance is being taken away from you!

Bunch of greedy, parasitic ingrates who looted and ruined this country!

Hausas and Yorubas are never known to harbour any hatred or pogrom in the last fifty years or even before, for each other

Yorubas on the other hand, are very accommodating and friendly, even to the excess of "visitors" within them ...to the extent that Ibos call them cowards!

At least, Hausas or Igbos in The Yoruba-lands are living peacefully and going about their (lawful?) busisness.

Hausas understand, respect and appreciate these things while the average Ibo, in their usual display of insensitivity, crass disrespect and mindlessness arrogance, continue to insult the only tribe that treats them like humans while at the same time foolishly thinking they can INCITE and cause a rift between the Northerners and South Westerners!
The joke is that everyone is wise to that trick and it does not work.

I feel sorry that Igbos think all these type of actions is what they need to actualize Biafra when in actual fact, they do not realize that excpet they are brave enough to declare a secessionist war on the country (and l bet we all know what will happen if that route is taken), since No one is going to "DROP BAIFRA ON THEIR LAP" like it was some nice Christmas present!

[b]Tact, diplomacy, humility even in the face of strength, alliances, are virtues that get you what you want in this modern world, TO WIN YOUR BATTLES,..........not all these "gra-gra" that annoys others and makes everyone think "well, payback time will soon come around"

Bravo! Clap for yourself! You really lived up to the trademark handed over to you by Awolowo and Co.
The wicked seed of bitterness, hatred, treacheery, tribalism and nepotism your forebears planted in you have yielded bountiful harvest! Just at the mere mention of Biaf...you and your Yoruba tribe would shout, cry, weep, wail, yell, curse and make much noise on every available media with thick mucous dripping down your smelly noses as if your life sustenance is being taken away! You aren't seen nothing yet...more misery awaits you and your supporters

A disgruntled element from a treacherous tribe writing gibberish to attempt to cover up the numerous evils being perpetrated by his wicked and greedy tribe.

That moment when the sleepy lion wakes to clear his throat, the barking dog begins to run for his dear life.
That awkward moment when shouting mouth jams moving action, mouth becomes dumb. That time is here with us...

If Yorubas are accommodating and friendly, why have Yorubas persistently bred and used miscreants to distort money and distrupt the businesses of law-abiding citizens in Lagos? Why would any Yoruba person dare utter such word like 'accommodating' other people in Lagos - a city developed with crude oil money and by the communal efforts of every tribe in Nigeria for close to a century; as if Yorubas feed other people and give out lands for free?

Between the Igbos and Yorubas, which of them constantly display insensitivity, crass disrespect, mindlessness arrogance and continued to insult the dignity and sensibility of other people using their numerous media outfits to heat up the polity, creating enmity and problems in the country and still foolishly think they are the 'sophisticated' tribe? The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi had already exposed the wicked lies of the treacheerous tribe in his paper titled 'YORUBAS ARE THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA'.

Igbo people are no betrayers and don't harbour traitors, chronic, perennial, perpetual, pathological liars!

Igbos have been killed in the North since 1940s, long before independence. They have continued to be killed in the North up till present. Nzeogwu's coup only provided a pretext for the North supported by the treacherous West to embark upon their favorite past time. Ojukwu defended Igbos from ethnic cleansing. Igbos survived the war because they are very resilient.

Biafra fought against world powers-backed Nigeria and the war lasted three years but when the big mouthed Yoruba tribe tried their gra-gra in 1993, it did not even last two days.
Yorubas started trouble they cannot finish in 1993 using 'June 12' with their Odua Islamic Republic of Ritual-killers in mind and were expecting Igbos to fight their wars; Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi were the only people around their AareOnaKakanfo MKO Abiola when he declared himself president-elect. The arrogant and cowardly tribe couldn't even protect him from being whisked away like a common thief. He was eventually slaughtered like a salah ram. All their gra-gra in 1993 did not last 2 days...

Yorubas and their co-travellers accuse Igbos of being greedy. That Igbo's love for money is insatiable, while every other Nigerian groups hate money! Abacha, Gowon, Obj, IBB, Danjuma, Abiola, etc, heartless men who looted the Nigerian treasury dry, is any of them Igbo?

If there is any one tribe in the world that values and protects the stranger that tribe is Igbo. Igbos permeate almost every nook and cranny of the country, peacefully and immensely contributing their quota to the economic advancement of the locals and the country at large. I am yet to read Igbos on rampage causing havoc and fighting their 'host'. Igbos network with their 'host', build business empires and some of them even get married to their 'host', all for peaceful co-existence and building bridges. Is there any tribe that exhibits such 'Nigerianess' than the Igbos? Can the treacheerous tribe boast of this? NO!

But what do the Igbos get in return for this patriotic display of One Nigeria - threats and destruction of their lives and properties by the so called 'host'? Igbos are being harassed, molested and their legal businesses distrupted on regular basis by the 'host' and its government.

Oba Riliwanu Akiolu of Lagos even went as far as threatening to drown Igbos in the Lagoon if they did not vote for his candidate in the last 2015 election. And a good number of Yorubas hailed and supported their Oba for the bold step - Dr Ariyo, Kunle Afolayan etc.!

The Igbos have done much and achieved much for themselves and Nigeria. Whatever negative impression you get from any quarter is as result of envy - the pull-him-down syndrome. But that has not deterred Igbos from waxing stronger and excelling in almost every socio-economic index.

YORUBA LEADERS SOWED THE SEED OF TRIBALISM AND RUINED NIGERIAN ECONOMY

Many of the achievements of the Yoruba tribe is largely due to the fact that they have been unjustly favoured by the lopsided arrangement in the polity. That's why a great number of Yorubas would prefer the status quo to remain. A number of Yorubas have used the unjust system to their advantage, looting the treasury with reckless abandon. Yoruba leaders wrecked this country and brought her to the present miserable state!

Many Yorubas overtly or covertly support the evils been perpetrated in this country. (Informed people are not deceived by Yoruba usual shouting, crying, weeping, wailing, yelling, cursing and making much noise on every available media. This a tribe that is after all well known for being loose cannons. Uncouth, uncivilised and disrespectful set of people who made a career out of abuse and slurs.)
If there is any southern tribe that have gained much from this fraudulent union, it is the Yoruba tribe!
Yoruba tribe have only flourished at the expense of others courtesy of the unjust system!

In saner climes many Yoruba leaders should have been behind bars spending the rest of their miserable lives for the great looting of our commonwealth.

Inspite of the crass looting of the treasury by many Yorubas, Yoruba land still remains one of the illiteracy and poverty stricken regions in Nigeria! Yoruba achievements have not in any way given her people a better welfare than the Igbos.

Whichever way the loudmouthed tribalists turn, one is certain - they must be made to eat their words! BTW, this is not the first time such wickedness had been done to the Igbos. After the war, the Yoruba god, Awo gave only a paltry £20 to any Igboman who could bring evidence he had money in Nigerian banks before the war!
The Albanians of Yugoslavia suffered killings and genocide, but today they are free and got Kosovo their dream country while Yugoslavia is no more! Whatever Igbos may be going through now is part of the struggle. Freedom isn't given, it's taken. Definitely,  there is no pain, no gain.

The bottom line remains that guilty conscience is the problem of many Yorubas which has practically beclouded their sense of judgement. They taunt the Igbo with images of the Biafran war. They brag to these victims of their genocidal exploits in the war; how Adekunle murdered innocent youths in their prime and how their god Awolowo used starvation policies to create kwashiorkor-ridden children. And they think these things don't irk the common Igbo youth.

Igbos may go through pains in the beginning, but majority are resolute fighters and never quitters. They are very confident of overcoming like they did after the Biafran war.

The typical Igbo man is civil and values the sanctity of life.

When a couple of distinguished past nationals like Nnamidi Azikiwe did their best to promote national patriotism even to the disadvantages of their own people, the likes Obafemi Awolowo used their positions to entrench hatred, bitterness, tribalism, nepotism and religious bias in the polity for their selfish gains. The latter are still being held in high esteem by their tribesmen, and they even use any means to shove it down the throats of other people.

No matter how hard these evil men try to cover up and silence the truth; truth is stubborn and she cannot be drowned. She is like a pack of straws that are held together and pinned down by a strong hand at the bottom of a river so that she should not be seen or heard. Yet one day, in the fullness of time, that strong hand that seeks to suppress her forever shall wither and dry up. At that point Lady Truth will happily float to the top of the water where she will be seen and heard by all. It is in the same way that one day, in the fullness of time, the pernicious and perfidious verdict...that the powers that be have claimed....will be exposed for what they are.

NO! To put it succinctly, you and your folks detest the truth!

The real enemies of progress are the proponents of the status quo in the Nigerian system, and are accustomed to spreading lies and wicked propaganda.
Anyone who supports in the smallest ways the sustenance of a criminal system that has only brought shame, waste, killings and backwardness, should be charged with crimes against humanity.
