There's a difference between what he's done and what he's doing.

I'm not doubting his ability or intelligence, the dude just needs to cool down. His anxiousness to get a pass is ruining him. This is the kind of play that got him benched at the beginning of last season.

Moreover it's partly a new experience and position for him with the team and I trust he'll come good.

He's a good player no doubt buh his performance hasn't been okay.

Has anyone got our number 10 role? No. LvG is still struggling to find a suitable player for that spot, and he's tried many of our midfielders but it's not working. Why not try Herrera?
Take yesterday as a case study; he, unbelievably, picked Januzaj over Herrera.

Why would we not concentrate on Rooney when he got 95% of everyrhing he did yesterday wrong while others at worst had 50 - 70% right. Did he not play pre season like the other players and should atleast give 60% as an experienced united player.

For me Januzaj was d other player I was not impressed with, but u know what he scoredm I still think Januzaj, Blackett should sent on loan and Evans should be sold.

You are even talking about our build up play being slow because the likes of Darmian and shaw don't bomb forward, its obvious LVG is the one causing that. He has clearly told them to always stay behind the ball and they are playing to instructions, that's why the midfield would always get the ball and lack options hence going backwards and sideways coupled with oga Rooney getting sucked into the middle to look for the ball.

This one is Gaals fault.

Some instances players need to express themselves & do stuff that just occur instinctively in their minds. Too many kick & follow getting favored that's why the team is boring as hell.
Make no mistake about it, this is an assembly of players in excess of £250m! It MUST entertain & grab trophies along the line. The fans are patient & it's still early days but making & playing informed/normal selections that even the ordinary pundit in studios can see will be a good start.

How did he manage 2 key passes. Only Mata had more key passes 3. How did he get almost double accurate passes of what Januzaj got? He started some attacks and had good forward play where it necessary.

As for two years ago. I brought it up because it similar to your current hypocrisy. Rooney had 99% performance, the only 1% left will be highlighted with gif, stat and charts and you all will line behind the theory. So why should I not highlight other guy's weaknesses?

From yesternight's match, Jzj played as an SS/AM. Herrera played as AM/CM. Rotation is key.

Now they said the moment Jones comes back.

How did we fair without Jones in the run in last season? He was in the thick of the action when we won 6/6. When he injured, we lost about three matches in a row. He returned and we won our games again.

Why do we make some players look bad even when they don't play?

I was not so behind him. Now I am behind him. If you observed, I was silent about this throughout the summer.

My take before was he was a number 10 playing off another striker. Now I am inspired to get behind him. Rooney will deliver if he stayed fit.

Rooney had 2 key passes according to whoscored/opta. He had one interception and one clearance.

Stats were poor generally.

He was in the box many times but Mata ways preferred to play with Darmian and long pass down to Memphis.

When he was not serviced he dropped out. However, even in 09/10 he was not always in the box.
