Yes, makes sense. smiley

Well.... I already submitted my application and I left the space for room and board blank and put 10k on the space for others. Since I already had a letter from my host stating he'll accommodate and feed me altru my studies.... I felt that including money for room and board on the form could jeopardise my app.

Do this two things
1. check to ascertain that each file you are trying to upload has not exceeded 4MB as stipulated.
2. Switch your browser to Chrome or Firefox or Opera if you are presently using internet explorer for the upload.

Mr Man, just this morning you were looking for an account to use to apply for visa, now this evening, all of a sudden, the VO has sent you a message to send a proof of your parents income?

hi peeps

I hope you ain't the same person with Moniker of Tesitrain? Cos you just replied my post about the account request you posted earlier using this different Moniker.

And all of a sudden, you have wiped off all your earlier posts and replaced them with 'hi'!

Pls guys, let's all be wary and careful of some people that come on this thread with varying intentions.. They shall all be exposed!

@ralfudoh @SeraSera @JJCE

You don't need to put the full address on top of any of the letters you submit. In my opinion it is a waste of valuable space.
All you need to do is write "High Commission of Canada, Accra" and then "Dear Visa Officer," on the next line. No need to put any address details, I think it is redundant smiley. In my sister's app this is what we did. For the SOP, we didn't address it to anyone... we just titled it "Letter of Intent". It is the content of the letter that matters imho, it is obvious who the reader is.

Oh OK, that makes a lot of sense.

Please I need help, I am a graduate of chemical engineering from a federal university in Nigeria. I will like to do my master in Canada especially university of Alberta or
university of Regina and I will like to stay back
after my program but I don't have industrial
experience. My question is that, does Canadian
universities and oil and gas companies offer co-op
(internship) for masters students. Please can someone help with answer to my problem.

Please don't place this kind of post on here. Canadian VOs (visa officers) or their interns likely read this thread for Naija applicant tricks (US VOs are on Nairaland). A post of this nature further reduces the credibility of other Nigerian applicants so let's keep things on this thread honest. In any case, you should first find someone who can truly sponsor you for at least one year of schooling, otherwise you will suffer in Canada. If you don't have the money, there are other good options -- try the German thread, their embassy only requires 8040Euros in an account, their tuition is free, and they have many post-grad courses in 100% English. Happy Sunday. smiley

Well he can post whatever he wants. The next thing the VO's look at after seeing you have the funds for your study is the account activity. So as to analyze how the account came to such amount.

That is just an auto generated message that serves as a remainder. It just means they are still reviewing your application

CIC advises you to pay at your risk. My advise if the deadline for payment is close and you are yet to receive your TRV, then pay if you are sure you will get your TRV. If the deadline is not close, am assuming you cant be resuming this fall since you are still ayouth corper. In that case you don't have to pay just show source of adequate funds for your stay.

I hope that was helpful

Hey y'all:
Which bank is the best Naija bank in which to have a domiciliary account? The criteria I care the most about are 1) ease of inward/outward international transfers 2) average to low transaction fees, and 3) average or better customer service.

My brother will be applying for a Canada TRV in September and his sponsor wants to transfer money for annual living expenses into a dom account in my brother's name. (Both the sponsor's letter and my bro's SOP will explain the source and purpose of the funds).

Please let me know your suggestions, particularly if you have a dom account with the bank you suggest. (If my bro gets his TRV, he would transfer all the money immediately to Canada, so this question isn't about ATM or POS charges or FX rates while abroad).

Any suggestions?
