They( Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo,Oyo, and indigenous Lagos groups) had no illustrious past history, most of what they claim are achievements of Creoles who made Lagos their new homes and took up Yoruba names to assimilate into the society, and then the Brazillian returnees. The likes of Alele Williams were part of these group, they were not really Yorubas.

Even with the achievements of these two foreign groups Yorubas are laying claim to, by fire by force, Ndiigbo still matched them in the past and way ahead of them now.
