But technically speaking this seatbelt might not help much in any case of impact accident (no doors for impact protection and reduction of impact forces, structural framing members are quite slender and will easily fail/crumple upon impact, etc .. I'll give him credit for trying

That is almost a neck belt. Without the one that goes round the waist, not much difference between him and a motorist without a belt.

I can't see any safety seat belt.
What it means is that you all don't know what a safety seat belt is or looks like.

There's no belt fastened around his waist.
So, this is a deceptive seat belt and cannot serve the purpose of a safety seat belt.

Anyway, the guy is safety conscious I like that, but the belt has to be installed correctly.
