Do you empty both bweasts when you feed your son? I used to favour one bweast, when the full breast becomes turgid and tender I developed these symptoms. Once I fed him and emptied it, I felt better.
Also carry out the MP test to erase all doubts.

You see these same symptoms I've have seen with my friend and it was because of her breasts. They were too full, her mum had to help her express them out cos baby wasn't sucking too much, and she slept off and it went.

My own aunt had these same symptoms, na so we press breast o, but breast sef didn't have much milk, so my mum came looked at her with all those matured women eye, and then said she would press her, even me sef I was against it, but my mum didn't listen, she pressed her whole body with semi hot water, massaged her waist, back, joints, tummy, and whole body, then rubbed every were with menthol, she slept and woke up and she actually had congealed blood which I honestly don't know how, but she soaked her wrapper with blood, thick blood sef.
That scenario was scary for me because I don't think me I can stand dat kind pressing. For 3 consecutive days.

And on the other hand it could just be malaria .

It's not easy o, vigilante plus headache and body pains. God is ur strength.

Haha proudmom, you are not having malaria. Its your overfull bre.ast. my wife had similar problem few weeks after delivery of our first child. the breast was as hard as stone and she was feeling fever seriously until she used breas.t pump to express the milk .just like that and the fever disappeared. she had been using hot water to bath and to massage the breast, even dtinking. she read online when the breast was not producing enough at early stage to employ hot water in that manner and the thing worked like magic and got to extreme.

Also when she wanted to wean our son, she was bathing and drinking hot water. Then the bresst fever returned as she did not allow our toddler to suck again. As she stopped using hot water gradually, the breas.t milk dried up and fever disappeared completely.

I guess your breas.t is overful perhaps your baby's appetite is low. Just get a breas.t pump and express the milk out. Stop using hot water completely as it hastens breas.t milk production. Thats it. Thank me later.

You massage the perineal area with olive oil or any other mineral oil.
Normal squats but hold on to table or chair to maintain balance. The squats also strengthen the muscles so that when LO comes the stretch wont cause much tears.
Preggies are adviced to start around 30 weeks or a few weeks to EDD.

I think i use 2 empty it but not always.wil try dis method n stil do d MP test if it continue 2mor...I'm beta 4 now.thanks dear!

BS Finally....
So, I had been having regular BH contractions since 38weeks sometimes 5min apart sef. went for my appointment and was 0cm dilated and 50% effaced. baby was head down but not engaged yet. 39weeks same story. I was really expecting cos my first came at 39weeks, Na so I dey pray everyday for labour to start o & every "over sabi preg expert" kept saying "your belle never come down, you'll go pass your due date" ( story....)
Fast forward to Monday( 39w+6days)
Around 9am I had what felt more like a bad tummy ache, laid down for a while then used the bathroom and there it was..my mucus plug all bloody, the contractions started coming every 5-10min lasting for about 20-30sec, they we're painful but manageable. I quickly had my bath, picked a few things and ate. It continued like that till 12pm and then it stopped. No contractions, nothing nothing.
Na so I carry myself lie down, I waited ..12:30 nothing..12:40 still no contractions ( was still loosing a bit of my mucus plug each Time I wiped) I just concluded it was false labour and decided to do other things( for my mind).
I was trying to get DD to sleep When I had another contraction at 1:07pm this time it lasted for 1min then it came every 5min lasting for 1min.
Then at 1:35pm I heard "POP" :omy water broke, by the next contraction no body told me to move..the pain do me like film trick . That's how we raced to the hospital which was 20min away, plus small traffic. By the time we got to the hospital I was in tears ( I should have known no two labours are the same cos I was busy comparing)
Got admitted to L& D, the nurse was trying to make me use the bathroom and change but I could not move. that's how they carried me to the bed, started the IV, checked and I was 7cm dilated already. Four contractions later & I was screaming, "I need to push" " I have to push" (all this time my Dr had not arrived o! and one Dr that looked like she was going to use me for experiment was getting ready to take the delivery). Anyway I was asked not to push & it took plenty self control not to.
Was checked again and was 10cm already and as God would have it Dr walked in that min and after 3sets of pushes my princess made her grand entry at 3:07pm, weighed 6lbs 14oz.

I just give God praise and I pray for all pushing mamas, safe, quick and supernatural delivery IJN.

We will all carry our bundles of joy, healthy mama and baby(ies).

You may have to see your doctor.discharge in pregnancy is normal but it should not have odour.don't worry though it is not a biggie.see your doctor

Hmmmmmm. It is well o.@Hafsat, abeg, that one is scary O! How did you cope for 5good months with ms? anyways maybe it's not as bad as this my own. I get scared at the site of food cos the kind of contractions that follows my vomiting enh, no be here o! The most painful was that my father died and I could not even taste water at his burial! cos I don't want to start my drama for village to avoid all eyes on me.
