Too much of Radio Biafra is bad,we should always use history as our reference point.The problem with th igbo race are our so called leaders,did u hear any of them rebuke Junaid?
Rather they are all after there pocket.If the Igbo would produce the next president of Nigeria then the should be in unison,look at the hausa's,they are good in that.
If u have read HALF OF A YELLOW SUN by ADICHIE,you would see there was a point in time they became exhausted because of the war and were patiently waitin for the Biafran Gov'ment to surrender and there was wild Jubilation when they heard Philip Effiong's voice over the radio.
We should put the past behind us and move on,let bygone be bygone.
Like Chinua Achebe said;The problem with Nigeria is not in the air we breath,food we eat,nt with a particular ethnic group,But with our politicians.co-exist peacefully with your neighbours.
BESIDES,NAIRALANDERS,AM 20 YEARS TODAY!

Since Dr Junaid made the controversial statement, no tangible igbo has replied him in such a way FFK just did. Soyinka spoke, went to jail for their course, Today igbo hate Soyinka more than anything. Honestly, If Igbo are not coward and slave they should have replied Junaid. If the controversial statement had come from Yoruba I believe a lot of replies and protest would have been rolling out with ultimatum. Now! Who is the real coward? Yes , any region or tribe that feels marginalized including Yoruba can seek for secede in a proper way this time around.

junaid should know there would be no more Bakassi to trade off. there will be no more boro and saro to sabotage Biafra again. there will be no more full yorubas support because the north has cheated Yoruba often...there will be no more full support from the western world.. it will just be Hausa/Fulani against the Igbo...

Unfortunately, Buhari also share Junaid's views on the Igbo's, just that he can't say it. He prefer to have people like Junaid Mohammed speak for him.

Recently, he echoed this views in an interview in the USA, when he said he will not treat all regions of the country equally. Having such a radical president who've been alleged to have links to terrorists is the worst thing that can happen to any nation.

Igbos have hardly survived on oil even the so called south south (Which is divisive because there is no cardinal point in the world called south south, though theres a sub called south-south-east (SSE)) South south them selves don't even enjoy their oil. majority of their oil blocs are not even owned by their sons. Will never be a mono economy like Nigeria.
