Backdating...
perhaps I threw you off with that.. forget that..

Is there an issue with the documents I have for application??
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by soji0509: 12:26pm On Aug 18, 2015
UBA hardly goes. Use a GTBank debit card. It works like charm. Goodluck

Hmnn.
G-E-A-T.
I will not stop loving you with your posts here. Keep it up Bros.
We were told to " Work and Pray " being the 2 eagle wings upon which to soar to the highest height possible.
Pray alone is not enough and work alone too. But the 2 can be complementary. In my view, it is much more better and safer to
over prepare than to under prepare. A million Thanks thesoj

By the way why have u not replied my PM ? I will repeat it right now in case you missed the others.
thesoj:
If you read my previous posts grin, the only reason why this $40k CAD payment was made was because the sponsor's funds were in a third country and the applicant had been previously rejected for insufficient funds even with sufficient funds on the sponsor's statements. smiley
Not to get into a theological debate here, but the bolded statement can be problematic (regardless of religious orientation) because it could influence applicants to not realize that they control over x% (let's say x=70) of the outcome of their application. The remaining y% (let's say 30%) is probably dependent on the VO's mood or luck (or God for some). Putting our best foot forward is the best hedge against TRV delay, not God. "God" helps those who helps themselves. If humans hadn't developed farm tools, vaccines, airplanes, and more, we would still be in the stone age. Let's not turn God into a vending machine. Please no offense intended o grin, I just want to encourage future readers of the thread to put their best foot forward without assuming that "God" would reward mediocre effort. I hope I haven't offended you or anyone else, if so I preemptively apologize.

You shouldn't be writing this in a forum like this. Backdating is a Fraud. Not all cloths are sun-dried in public. The V.O. might be reading all this and you wonder why all documents from Nija are deemed fake by default ?
waltwissle:
I dont understand??
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 1:40pm On Aug 18, 2015
It's okay to use the SOA like that but isn't it better to print a new one that will show that your school fees was from that same account. It won't really cost you anything
Inkblood:
Hello guys. please whats the maximum time difference btw the date of your soa and the date of visa application.. as i printed my soa last week, monday 10th. hoping to go to the embassy by wednesday. i have been having few delays. and still haven't gone. and as it is i might be going this friday. would i need to print my soa again? i have just paid tuition fees actually and waiting for the receipt that is why i might be waiting till friday. if i am to print another soa, must i print days up till the date before i printed or could i leave a few days out?

Been away for a while. I hope everyone is doing well and more good news came through.

With the new semester almost here, I'd like to offer all the new arrivals a warm welcome and to those about to get on the plane a safe journey.

Soak up the last few months of warmth, I have a feeling it'll be a cold winter later.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Urchmandon:
N/B: It's a long post. Please, do not quote all.

The information provided herein include further details of my application and documents submitted.

Applied (online): 1st July
Biometrics: 6th July
Upfront medical.
PP request: 11th August
App. approved: 17th August

Documents submitted:
All CIC forms,
Admission letter,
LOE (3pages),
Birth cert.,
Undergrad. cert.,
Transcript,
WAEC cert.,
NYSC cert.,
Police character cert.,
Proof of provisional accommodation,
Reference letters,
Marriage certs. of parents & sponsor,
IELTS report form.

Sponsor:
Letter of sponsorship (notarized),
SOA,
Fixed deposit certificate,
Pay slip,
Reference letter from bank/employer.

Please, the following are based on personal opinion (mostly for those yet to submit their apps.) & shouldn't be misconstrued in any way.

1. All documents & information provided on the documents one intends to submit should be purposeful, clear & possibly self explanatory. That person X submitted document A doesn't mean person Y should/has to. If it's not a required document (from personal checklist) & it doesn't relay much info that will support your application and/or propel the VO to approve your application, do not include it.
It's better not to include some not-really-necessary document than to include one & give an incoherent explanation for it and/or an avenue to speculate (incorrectly).

2. LOE is optional & people have gotten TRV without one but if for any reason, whatsoever, an applicant feels the need to explain any information that will further simplify his/her application, please he/she should include one. For instance, address A might appear on an applicant's form & address B might appear on same applicant's acceptance letter. In as much as most people will consider such inconsistency insignificant, some others (maybe the VO included) might not. Such disparities may provide an avenue for doubt which could lead to a more thorough assessment, unravelling further discrepancies.
Explaining even the slightest differences or inconsistencies will only give more credence to an application.
Moreover, I think the VO will appreciate the effort(s) the individual made to simplify his/her task. Nobody smiles to work everyday hoping to be hit by an unanticipated complicated issue.

3. Be more open and honest than he/she (the VO) would expect you to be.

4. Finally, all documents should collectively present you (the applicant) as an attentive, distinguished, hard working and honest individual.
Make your application yours & not a "sub-application" of some other individual.

To all expectants, stay hopeful. To everyone who has contributed and/or still contributing to the progress of the thread, keep up the good work & remain blessed.

Cheers!

ok thanks bro
is it REALLY mandatory that one's sponsor must state how much he is going to dispend every academic year since the role of sponsorship is just about taking care of incurred expenses by the person you are sponsoring.

is it really okay to start stating how much you making availablehuh? undecided

the cost isn't the problem. its just that my funds would be quite depleted after this sch fees payment. i am paying about 1.3m depending on the exchange rate. which would have made my soa look better. although i have already explained in the existing sop that i made the part tuition payments from the account though
