Today's was a fantastic performance.... absolutely chuffed!

I just hope Oga LVG will not revert to Depay at 10 coz i will be furious if he does. Rooney looks like he's coming back on form, Januzaj looked brightish but not entirely ready for this stage so i think getting Pedro in is essential. Pedro can perform at a similar standard to Depay on the right so if he comes suddenly our flanks will be very dynamic,fast and full of goals so we won't have to rely on Rooney anymore. In fact i think a front three of Depay, Rooney and Pedro would get at least 16-20 goals and 10-15 assists each much like an inferior version of Barca's front three.

So impressed with the defence. From the very first day that i saw Chris Smalling play i have loved him as a defender so i am not really surprised that he is now winning over the doubters and shutting up the haters. Not really convinced by Blind though....great passing from the back but i would feel much more comfortable with a more natural defender in there. I was watching him closely and he always seemed to get drawn out of the back line. I think that we have not yet seen the best of Rojo and i'm fairly certain Rojo - Smalling will be this season's standout defence.

i dont know how long you have been on these thread, but the players they praise today, they term useless in no record time. Soccer is a team game with players getting inform/off form. The gaffer knows the best time to use them and he should be sensible in how he deploys them. The team played well tonight bar not scoring at least 6 goals.

Romero will be a problem this season. I really don't think we can rely on him to be our number 1 if we want to challenge for the title.

Smalling our most consistent player so far. Hope he stays injury free.
