What you people do not realise is that with the fall in oil prices, there is not much money left for capital investments. The only way those projects you mentioned will be completed is if there is some sort of public-private partnership under which the private sector builds the port or road and is allowed to charge users to recoup investment.

I suspect the new Govt is not the sort to embark on such schemes so nothing is going to happen.

GEJ was very tribalist in his appointment. He seriously marginalised the Yorubas. Obasanjo on the other hand had more Ibos (especially) and Northerners in his appointments than the Yorubas.

Why did you not mention the South West that made Buhari the president? The total votes of those northern states you stated would have amounted to NOTHING without the votes of the Yorubas. Now tell me, what is the South West getting in return? Abi there are no qualified people in that region?

President Buhari should realise that this is a DEMOCRACY and due process has to be followed to confirm the nominee's qualification, suitabilty and capacity to hold the position as MD of AMCON.

The Senate has a role to play and it must play it fully

I was one of the people who strongly believed that Buhari will not islamize Nigerians but will place northerners in all strategic position He did that with PTF in road construction .He is doing that successfully again.

South West has gotten the position of the Attack Dog in the person of Adeshina. The Attack Dog named you "Wailing Wailers". I hope he will last long with this trend. Nonetheless, the South West is still expecting some mouth watering appointments from BabaGoSlow the people's general. Note however, that all the votes that PMB got from South West is not up to 1.9 million abi na billion sef that he got from Kano alone, I don't know whether the dead too joined the voting in Kano, Kaduna and Katsina. You forgot to state how many votes South-west gave GMB in the last presidential elections. As you already know, the votes of the SW was quite insignificant to the total votes. The south west has sold the whole south to the north for a morsel of bread. I can assure you that there will be future implications, which you cannot see for now. No matter the alliance formed by a southern zone with the north, One thing you have to understand is that no zone in the south can produce a president of southern origin without the support of other southern zones. An Igbo man and someone from south-south will still rule this country again. Do not ever complain when the same treatment is meted out to your zone by then. A precedence has been set by Buhari. Future leaders will use it as reference, and will have enough facts to justify their actions.
