http://nollywoodbabes.com/goodluck-jonathan-the-accidental-president-a-must-read/Some say Nigeria should break up and everyone go their own way, while others say it should stay as one… but what about you, what do you say? Wait! before you answer you might want to have this behind your mind. Nigeria has over 250 different languages and hundreds of Tribes and dialects, so how many Countries can Nigeria actually break into? ..because at the end no tribe would like to be under anybody. Regardless of this pressing facts, those that still wants the Country to break up feels that the NORTH has ruled Nigeria more than any other Zone and they seem to love Power way too much making the other people and tribes feel very cheated. This very scenery, makes up the Background of this particular series GoodLuck Jonathan: The Accidental President. So let’s start here. After the death of Moshood Abiola, with the intrigues and high powered play that follows, the powers that be decided a Yoruba man was needed to head Nigeria’s new democracy and they settled for the former military head of State Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo. Recognizing the monopoly of power by the Hausas, PDP the newly formed party that brought in Obasanjo decided to put a stop to the usual scenario where one Zone holds power forever. They agreed among themselves that as far as their party PDP is concerned, they will be zoning their Presidential slot between the North and South, that way no Zone will hold power forever. Even in this agreement some people believed that the NORTH actually wanted Obasanjo to do just one term of 4 years as they tried to field in his vice Abubakar Atiku for their party’s second term but the savvy Obasanjo was able to maneuver himself and he completed his 8years. Now you can imagine the joy of the NORTH that it is finally their turn to govern Nigeria for complete 8years. Some of them might have actually pinched themselves to see if it was real and wondered how they survived the previous 8years without being in power. Of cause Obasanjo handpicked his successor Yaradua the younger brother of his close friend that died in the hands of Abacha, but they also remembered the NIGER DELTA, a place that produces most of Nigeria’s Oil (Which actually accounts for most of the money used in running the Country). Trying to balance the equation, they went to this zone that Nigeria has always deprived of powerful posts in the polity despite its great contribution to the wealth of the nation, and from there they picked Yaradua’a Vice who’s name is Goodluck Jonathan. Before that he was the deputy Governor of Bayelsa State who got promoted and became the governor immediately the then governor got involved in a nasty corruption scandal that saw him escape from the United Kingdom dressed as a woman. And before Good luck Jonathan could properly settle down as a Governor he was hand picked and promoted to become the Vice President of Nigeria. Though everybody knew his was more of a ceremonial post to appease the Southerners and Niger Deltans. Nobody expected Yaradua to make anything serious of the man and strangely most Nigerians just cue in on that and really didn’t pay much attention to the vice president Good luck Jonathan as everyone concentrated on Yaradua asking him to make Nigeria a great Nation. Then like something out of a movie, the unimaginable happened, barely 3 years into his government President Yaradua died! Wow! how are the Hausas going to take this? What about the Vice President Good Luck Jonathan that nobody paid much attention to?…. This is where the Political Intrigues begins… The Cabal! The Smuggling of Yaradua’s copse into the Country! Sahara Reporters! The Threat! The Growth of Boko Haram! The Betrayals! The Confusion! The looting and Drying up of the Nigerian Treasury!. SUBSCRIBE and Watch Out for the PART 2 Of GoodLuck Jonathan:The Accidental President COMING VERY SOON!!!!http://nollywoodbabes.com/goodluck-jonathan-the-accidental-president-a-must-read/
