I gate crashed for my first banking job in 2008. I got the job and that has been keeping me going up till now. I have moved to four other banks now and doing wonderfully well. All is God. Get prepared and this might be your time. Best of luck.

Have never gate crashed an interview before and I don't blame anybody who has, because of the situation in this country, desperate times require desperate measures.

Gatecrashing requires high sense of humor, you must be very calculative, I gatecrashed a New Insurance company, with attractive salary, I was successfully screened in, then it was time to submit CV, the HR personnel called me gently.. Mr. Xyz your age is above yhe required age, how come ? We only invited candidates based on age ...then this saint look came over me, and I was shown the way out. I spent ove 1k getting down to their bar beach branch. I am sure some gatecrasher made it through

The information is always on Nairaland, where the legit invitees seek for aptitude test format. Beseech any invitee to send d invite to u. Believe you me, 1 out of every 5 u contacted would be largehearted enough to share with you.

During my time, we were about 16 people they employed and 10 of us gate crashed. But we no dey talk am for office shaa.

Ours was aptitude test shaa and not interview.

Well i'll say it works for people differently..I've worked wit two coys on contracts having gate crashed the interviews. Most times its always when they need quite a number of people and they ddnt schedule a proper interview session.

But to burst your bubble sha gate crashing has bin drastically reduced now since firms now are getting acquainted wit such practice by graduate. So recently I now see a list of authorized invitees @ the gates and reception just to cub gate crashing..too bad,twas fun while it lasted tho..sorry guys u missed out on dis one

Yea, It is possible. I got job with UBA Plc in 2008 through gatecrashing. I was not aware UBA Plc was accepting CVs then but in the morning of the test a friend that we served together just called me to know I will be attending the test.

I told her I didnt know that UBA Plc was going to conduct test, for which she told me the location. I rushed there, gratecrashed and eventually got the job.

These people sharing gatecrashing testimonies should always add the year. Someone who gatecrashed successfully during Yaradua's regime should not use that as proof that it can be done in 2015.

yep...many years back my cousin escorted a friend to a bank interview and decided to gate crash. he was employed and rose to be branch manager after some 12 years or so..

Gate crashing

I remember gate-crashing an interview some years back.The interview was slated for 9:00 a.m on a Sunday, I went to church for the Praise and worship session and bolted out from church for the interview. After initial fears about turning back and forgetting the interview, I got extra-bold when I met another gatecrasher and we both went and put our names on the attendance register.my name was number 11 on the list (my co-gatecrasher should be 12)

When the interview started, the interviewers called in number 1 to 11 and moved us to another room before going back to other waiting candidates to tell them " if you weren't invited for this interview, PLEASE LEAVE! ". At this point. I knew it was God at work.

When I was to face the panel, I found out that one of the ogas on the table was a woman I had met earlier on the staircase ( its like a 7 storey building) and I had shared encouraging words with her as I saw her gassing from the stress of climbing the stairs.

To cut the long story short, I got the job. It was two- levels above my current position and the pay was good...to add to the humour, the week I tendered my resignation at my erstwhile office was the week the promotion list came out and I got a one-level promotion. Without thinking twice, I boned the yeye promotion and moved on!

After NYSC, I didn't bother applying for jobs. I kept a close eye on the thread that has the legend of the gatecrasher i.e Lero15 and funny enough we gatecrash about 4 tests together. I got my present job from the 4 tests.

You can't gate crash test/interview in a well-structured company cus names of invitees are always documented and sent to the security post or reception.

Yes, it's very possible... especially if it's a test.

It's very much possible when the test invite format is a text message. But if it's email with some password or code, it can't work.
I attempted 6 last year...Passed 2, failed one, wasn't allowed @ two, and left in annoyance cos they were delaying us @ one. A good point to note is that these guys knew we were gatecrashers. For those 2 I passed, they just had compassion on us after begging, etc.

My friend gatecrash to an interview with a letter from an emir, the white man read the letter and tore it to pieces.. But he asked my friend to go in and prove himself by passing the aptitude test. He passed but his friend who. was invited for the text failed. He got the job, with a flat and official vehicle
