This test is false. I tried it this morning. My phone didn't ring the first time, but rang the second. So I decided to do a little more research.
Don't throw your microwave oven away just yet. As long as the door closes properly and no part of it is cracked, it's fine.

This test is a false test. Microwave ovens operate at 2ghz frequencies while cell phones operate at 800mhz, 900mhz & 1800mhz frequencies so this test a no hope of being accurate. Rather use a wifi enabled device and ping it, if it responds then you have a leak not phone call.

And how did you know that every home in America has a microwave or been using microwaves. Since they were born? i suppose you have been to every home in America , again how did you come to the conclusion that some deaths are not caused by the use of microwave? Professor on physics

As a professional in the field of radiation, I stand to disagree with the write-up on one assumption that the microwave is approved by quality control organization. Microwave works by exciting the molecular structure of the body in its path, an as such producing energy in the form of heat. The three cardinal points of radiation protection are; Time, distance and shielding.

Time: How long your are within the field

Distance; How far away you are from the field

Shielding: inherent and external shielding. Inherent has to do with the materials used in around the equipment while external is the protective material around you, for example wall, lead aprons, glass barriers etc.

Radiation does not linger around once the device is turned off.

You get expose to more radiation by traveling in an airplane than what you would get from one chest xray exam

There are natural background radiations you are exposed to daily emitting from Radon (natural occurring element).

Some Kitchen counter tops and flooring made from granite emit more harmful radiation than some devices.

Man made radiation accounts for the greater percentage of human exposure to radiation.
