Nigeria has missed a unique opportunity the likes of which may not be available for years perhaps decades. The owners of Nigeria will do everything to maintain the status quo. They will resist every attempt at national structural reforms and they have scored a big one in this administration. To me it is no surprise that the bulk of appointments so far has gone north and the mandate to each will be clear. Frustrate any move for true federalism and crush whoever stands in the way of that.
