President Jonathan Successfully Fought Corruption Without Making Noise. - Falana by helinues: 2:18pm On Aug 24, 2015 |
One of the profound critics of former President Goodluck Jonathan's government and Lagos activist, Femi Falana have joined other Team of Jonathan critics to confess that he actually fought corruption in more civilized ways. The Lagos while speaking on Channels TV this morning said that "contrary to the general belief that former President closed his eyes to corruption, President Goodluck Jonathan did so much in the fight against corruption including the sack of three of his ministers for alleged graft. Adding to what Bishop Matthew Kukah said last week, Mr Falana concluded that President Jonathan carried out the most successful loot recovery without making noise about it. During the Jonathan era, the government introduced the Single Bank account for the country, saving billions. Their electronic payroll payment system and the Bio-metric registration of Federal workers identified 68,000 Ghost workers and over 50,000 ghost pensioners. They also introduced the Single Contract Requisition system with a Legislative oversight. The cashless economy was the reason that "Ghana-Must-Go" disappeared in the National Assembly and around the corridors of his administration. Trillion of Naira were recovered and saved the through these high-tech corruption fighting system and and was never advertised. Source: Channels tv 18 Likes 3 Shares |

Even as a critique, Falana still allude to the fact that GEJ made such great feat. The APC wants to paint the administration black hoping came will give them the leap in the int'l community. But just as their disappointment at securing arm deal in the US owing to their unguarded utterances, here again, they will face the consequences. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Isn't this Femi Falana the hopelessly useless Govt lawyer that could not earn a single corruption win under his belt while working for the GEJ Govt as head of its Prosecution Team? He needs to be investigated to know how shut and sealed cases were lost by him in the most infantile of ways. I suspect someone has been collecting bribes to take dives in the Penalty box. |

Falana should shut the hell up. He was among those who said GEJ didn't do anything to curb corruption. He should remain patient for his appointment from Buhari, there's still hope he'll get something. 3 Likes 1 Share |
