Don't mind some people. They would listen to anybody that preaches what they want to hear. I stopped respecting him after he slapped the poor girl.

It is sad though that those who should be examples and those who should be building marriage are those who are destroying it in the name of advice. I have a friend that is a christian who preaches to young couples now and he told me why he took that role voluntarily. He told me how his marriage was crumbling and he was unable to save it. Every time they went for counseling from men of God, all they told him was to love his wife and provide for her. The wife got the remaining blame. He kept waiting for his wife to change until someone he calls a miracle told him the truth which was that he too needed to change. He agrees he is happy today.
