Am here because of my sister who jst got her i-20, and whose interview is in 2weeks time but doesn't know what other docoments too take too the embassy aside her i-20, her sponsor's statement of acct of 7m and her academic credentials.. She's goin for msc nd sch resumes
October 15th..wud apreciate if any1 can list other document she will be needing @ the embassy.

Visa appointment page, I-20, Sevis fee receipt, Visa payment receipt. Others are Admission Letter, Bank Statement, GRE or Toefl scores (could be unofficial score sheet), pay slip, resume, letter of sponsorship...etc.

That list u actually seeing is endless. You can however check using Google for the list of possible docs for F1 Visa. You'll find it there.

For spring 2016, yes applications are closing oct/nov, but if you're talking about fall 2016, you still have till April/may for most school...most schools keep apps open till at least 3 months before resumption of the semester you're applying for, and fall is august loun-loun...

I was thinking of going for spring 2016, but I haven't done my SAT or IELTS and I don't have my international passport presently. Doing exams presently, I'll be through with exams mid September and I don't think I can meet up with the deadline. Tho I've started the application through CSUmentor for spring for SFSU and SJSU. If spring didn't work out, I'm definitely sure of fall2016.

i wonder y people r not applying to valparaiso uni...dis uni is so nice
cheap tuition for a private sch
..accept scanned doc..no gre no toefl esp for msc computer sc n IT...but just do 1exam for embasy sake..some mba courses requires gmat though
..everyone at valpo is nice..they even help secure jobs for you after graduaton///dats a good ROI

Hello great people on earth. This forum is fantastic
I have a few clarification please
I and my husband have a running USA visa since last year, and we both visited the US just one time each,spent just 7 days on our visit which was last year May, but we have little kids who don't have visas yet. The kids are minors, ages 5 and 7
We all wish to visit the US in december for few days together with our kids who don't have the visas yet
Since they are considered minors, please what procedure will they use to get the visas
Secondly, do they stand the chance of geting the visas, since myself and my husband used them ( our kids ) as ties when we both applied for our visas.
I am a Structural engineer and my husband is a banker.
NB: we don't have any history of family trip abroad before, except local travellings within nigeria
