☕☕ New Custom Boss reported to have been on the panel that sentenced Ken Saro-Wiwa to death in 1995 (November 10), 20 years ago. Buhari has commendably authorised the implementation of the "clean up" of Ogoniland - the very cause Ken fought for and which eventually cost him his life during the Abacha regime. Now Hamid Ali is "back in governent", as it were and with the benefit of hindsight, would he say they did the right thing?

It's not his fault that he was involved in a kangaroo trial of a purported enemy of the state. The question, is what was Col Ali's opinion on the judgement effected against the accused. If he felt the judgement delivered wasn't fair, then why didn't he excuse himself from the trial. Why is it, that till this day, he is yet to make a formal apology to the family of the late freedom fighter. please, forget about this argument. The new customs boss, has no business partaking in government. If we were in a civilised country, he would be standing trial for murder, instead of being rewarded for his supposed "LOYALTY".
